Plant & Page toured together in the 90’s, I’m not sure what all years. A very funny interview they did when touring Japan, they both were funny, I think you’d get a kick out of it. Though I love both Plant & Page, it’s hard for me to watch them, without Bonham & JPJ. I have watched some, but I really miss Bonham’s presence especially. Thank you as always.
Awesome. I was one of folks who recommend this one to you. It may not be Led Zeppelin but it's still a piece of their history because it was the first time it was played. And I bet somewhere in a box I still have the same double cassette of the Knebworth concert back in '93. Bought it just to hear Page and Plant and I don't think I listened to any of the other bands.
I remember my first experience at a Led Zeppelin concert. I went with 4 friends: Jim.Steve.William.Johnny. We had a blast. We had taken some shrooms and smoked some pot and of course we took it with us to the concert. Thousands of people there. the tickets were $5.99. We had great seats in the middle of the Coleseum. Steve brought a bottle Spinada Red wine.Johnny had brought some JD whiskey. John Bonham was warming up his drums for about 10 minutes along with Jimmy Page warming up his guitar and tuning it. There was juge clouds of pot in the middle of the Coleseum. Crazy. they started the concert with No Quarter which was perfect since most people there were high. That was Amazing!!! The solos of that song were like 5 to 10 minutes........Black dog....was the next song.......I remember "Stairway To Heaven" was the ending song and my friends and I were crying on the song mostly because we were high....lol.....Encore lasted for 15 minute...they came back on stage and did "The Grunge" It was a 4 hour concert. So hit the streets to get something to eat at 3 am....We went to Bob's Big boy Restaurant and ate Hamburgers and fries and Chocolate Malts! It was fun, It took me three days to recover.
So fun! I do love seeing their chemistry and the energy they were still bringing. Even watching Robert perform now, in his 70's, it's so clear he was born to perform. Its like he feeds off the energy of the crowd. Thanks for choosing this one. "Real" Zeppelin or not, it was pretty great.
I don’t know why the title is today’s date, lol i tried changing it several times but it won’t change, hopefully i can get it to change soon!
