A very well made animated series, well directed and produced with an amazing music that points out the emotions in a very immersive way, one of my best childhood memories
I would have loved to see all the bronze saints arrive together and face the pope (also the "minor" bronze, always liked them). These sequence is awesome. Back in the days, I always hoped that the gold saint of sagittarius would still somehow be alive. Amazing memories. Amazing story. One of the best animes of all time. I am 45 years old and I am so glad I grew up with this as a kid.
Lo que me gusta es como en su misma alucinación saga estaba conciente que libra y aries siempre fueron santos rebeldes y poderosos, por eso no los nota que se ponen en su contra, pero se aterra ver a milo y deathmask santos que saga consideraba aliados volverse en su contra y mas miedo al ver a aioros regresar para vengarse
y antes de aioros el momento en el que más se asusta es cuando su propia armadura también se rebela en su contra (pequeño detalle que en ese momento seguramente nadie se dió cuenta, que la armadura de géminis es la última que muestran, detalle que uno se da cuenta después de haber visto la saga en su totalidad)
You know what I find amazing with that scene? It's how the gold saint are seen when they turn to Ares. They're black silhouette because Ares only sees them as pawn for his plan but we can clearly see they're haircut, because Saga see them as the person he grew up with, they're brothers to him. That scene really shows how Saga is in his mind

Realmente el mejor villano de Saint Seiya, y en mi opinión Saga es mejor que Freezer. Sí, es MUY genérico durante los primeros arcos (en especial en la de los Santos de Plata, por dios era insoportable...) pero la revelación es increíble, tienes escenas como esta o cuando Shun derrota a su fantasma en la casa de Geminis que generan misterio sobre la naturaleza de su psique, y cuando finalmente conoces quien es y su pasado, todas las piezas caen en su lugar y se siente muy satisfactorio el haber llegado hasta ese punto de la serie. Aparte de que nunca lo derrotan de verdad, él mismo se suicida para redimir sus acciones. Y su meta tiene cierto sentido (proteger al mundo de los dioses que solo juegan con los seres humanos), es solo que su lado malvado por ser el santo de Geminis tomó las cosas demasiado lejos. Y al final de hecho tuvo toda la razón (con métodos equivocados...) porque justamente después vino Poseidón a joderlo todo

After the second house, when Seiya unlocked the 7th sense, he should have ordered the other Gold Saints to stand down, let the bronzies get to him in like 10 minutes climb to, nice and winded, also without any soul transforming experiences, and just Galaxian Explosion-ed their 5-senses deprived asses. Ikki would have intervened, maybe, but probably to no avail. Win. Go enjoy a glass of sherry Saga, you've earned it.
demanding the gold saints do nothing and just let everyone go through would trigger a lot of questions and put the great pope's authenticity as athena's confidant at stake. also shiryu wanted to face death mask for real this time, he wouldn't have missed this opportunity, even if death mask remained inert. also lio aiolia was under a spell that wouldn't be lifted until he killed someone, unless saga removed the effects of the spell himself(if he could remotely do so), but then the bronze saints would gain a valuable ally in their fight against evil. saga's best course of action would have been to beat a retreat when the bronze saints made it past the capricorn temple, flee the sanctuary altogether and seek refuge in Asgard. he wouldn't know if athena died, but at least he would be able to bide his time and plan his next move
Wow, its incredible this video has 2 million views, this is top 10 best anime of all time, and it was such a crime that Lost Canvas was canceled mid way. 2 million people united could have made such a difference!
Aldebaran lost his left horn Kanon are marine (but in Saga's mind he died) Deathmask and Aiolos died Shaka fled Shura and Afrodite are still in Saga's side.

this is a filler. There isn't this scene in the manga. it only shows the Pope being surprised that the Sagittarius cloth is back to the Sanctuary.

実際の教皇はかなり多忙で椅子に座ってふんぞり返る暇などはほとんど無かったそうです
普通の人間ならばとっくに過労死してる所ですがそこは小宇宙で耐えました
リアルタイムで観てた時は、教皇アーレス（実際はサガ）がただ単に倒される恐怖心かと思ったけど、大人になって観たら、この時のサガって、双子座の陰陽の陰の部分が強いだけに支配者としての地位が揺らぎそうになる不安や、星矢達の青銅聖闘士が力を付けて行く上に、ムウ・アルデバラン・アイオリア・ミロみたいに黄金聖闘士側でアテナや青銅聖闘士に加担するのが出たりで、こういう白昼夢を見たのかと考えてしまう。

Una de las escenas no epicas, sinó magistrales de la saga. Aunque el dibujo mejoró mucho en la saga de Asgard y Poseidón.

demanding the gold saints do nothing and just let everyone go through would trigger a lot of questions and put the great pope's authenticity as athena's confidant at stake. also shiryu wanted to face death mask for real this time, he wouldn't have missed this opportunity, even if death mask remained inert. also lio aiolia was under a spell that wouldn't be lifted until he killed someone, unless saga removed the effects of the spell himself(if he could remotely do so), but then the bronze saints would gain a valuable ally in their fight against evil. saga's best course of action would have been to beat a retreat when the bronze saints made it past the capricorn temple, flee the sanctuary altogether and seek refuge in Asgard. he wouldn't know if athena died, but at least he would be able to bide his time and plan his next move
