A goal that will always be talked about. A goal that will always live in Wolves rich history. A goal that Ruben Neves amongst everything else will always be remembered. In short sensational 💥🐺🧡
I was there that night working as per usual, the fans went crazy. I just stood there mouth wide open. The fans doing all over me. I knew that night was special and after working for almost 20 years it will remain with me forever!
I think, us Wolves fans have been absolutely blessed with a Gem who not only gave me personally, the best memories as a Wolves fan, but an entire community who appreciate everything he has ever done. He will leave, onto bigger and more adventurous journeys, but my god what a man, what a player, what a hero. Thank you Ruben. For everything.
Fair play to Scott Carson for coming on, not many would want to turn up and talk about it. Then again, there's nothing him or any keeper on the planet could have done to stop that.
I was in the Stan Cullis upper that night right in line with Neves. There was a sort of delayed reaction from those around me of “have we just seen that”. A couple more things about the game, the Derby fans applauding the goal and the game was directly after the win at Cardiff and Warnock’s outburst against Nuno, when he accused Nuno of having no class directly after telling him to F off three times. When the Wolves fans started singing about Warnock being a banker (or words to that effect), the Derby fans joined in…..😂😂
I've been a Wolverhampton wanderers since 1968 I've seen many goals wolves home & away but this is my favourite goal from a great player that's why I named my dog 🐶 Ruben 👍 good luck to wolves for rest of season ⚽️
The best goal I ever witnessed. I still owe huge debt to my colleague who couldn't make it that day and so I took my son... And thanks to Louise, my son has the celebratory painting on his wall.
I remember being in the crowd at the first game of the season vs Everton the year after. Thinking to myself, okay hes got a Free Kick against a PL team, hes been doing it against Championship teams for a year, but now is the test against a "proper" team. The runup, and the curl into the top right hand corner. It was magical. That was when i knew we were going somewhere big, and he'd become one of the greats of the Black Country,
Best goal i'll ever see live. It'll be a really sad day when this guy leaves us, but its inevitable now. Wish him nothing but the best and hope he goes to a massive club, preferably overseas, haha
Not a Wolves fan but I watched this game as I had known about Ruben Neves since around 2015 or 2016 when he was coming through at Porto so I used to watch his games often. Saw this goal live on TV and it is genuinely one of the greatest goals I’ve seen in my life.
I was in the south bank up in s1 in shock I didn’t celebrate straight away I was just stunned…. The only time I’ve ever seen away fans clap for an opposition goal
6 years on and I still cannot believe Ruben Neves came to us. He restored the pride in our club and delivered us moments I could have only dreamed of. I hope one day our king will return and captain our great club once again. A wolves legend
In the 45 years of watching Wolves I’ve never seen a more spectacular goal, sensational 🧡🖤
And still didn’t win goal of the season 🤣🤣🤣
@@matthancock260 Flawed decision panel or VAR to blame 😂😂
@@superbrit3845 VAR? it didn’t even exist then let alone in the championship 🤣😭

Go Wolves! From a fan from the states!
What a Strike he is a Wonderful player no dowt a out it Wolves are lucky to have him 👏 👍Ruben Neves...😊
I think about this goal constantly, and the Europa League banger against Espanyol!
Fair play to Scott Carson for coming on, not many would want to turn up and talk about it. Then again, there's nothing him or any keeper on the planet could have done to stop that.
Tbf I think the way they were able to speak to him was because his son is part of wolves academy

Being a wolves fan since birth in 2002 I’ve never seen a better goal one of the most underrated Midfielders of our generation
Probably too one of the best head coaches Wolves have ever had. Should NEVER have left. He oozed Wolverhampton Wanderers and he was loved
The best goal I ever witnessed.

Greatest goal in our history
i lost it when River Flows In You started playing 🤣🤣
I was there
Come on wolves
Hope you're trying your hardest to keep him @ wolves £150k a week 1 year contract
Wasn't even the best goal scored that week... But it's the best goal ever for your club 😂😂😂
Literally no goal could have been better
I reckon, freeze at 8:11 and use that image for the statue 👍
Special player, what a time to be a wolves fan, being at that game was a crazy feeling
Thật ngạc nhiên khi đến bây giờ anh ấy chưa từng 1 lần gianh được giải Puskas. Cá nhân tôi vẫn thích Wolverhampton khi Nuno là người quản lý đội 🐺

That was pure magic from a special player and captain 👏 🙌 words can't express what that meant! COYW, Always Wolves 🐺
Can’t believe it was 5 years ago, what a player,what a goal,what a team , “ Wolves aye we”🧡🖤🧡🖤
Best experience ever to witness the goal in South Bank 🐺🐺
All you fickle fans right now. Remember where we came from. Neves will be a wolves legend forever. I will take his name to my grave. Bravo.🙌👏👏
I’m going to bawl my eyes out when this man leaves wolves
What a goal! Love Ruben to bits! 😆

Bloody hell I miss Nuno
Fair play from Scott Carson turning out for this, because there is no way I'm talking about it if I'm a keeper

Amazing goal. Would've liked to have heard Mikey Burrows and Thommo's version of events too, love his commentary on that goal!
❤ Wolves, and I will always love Ruben Neves, thank you for your contribution to our club... Once a wolf, always a wolf!

I will never forget that Goal the springs in my Sofa broke when i landed back down after jumping so high watching it on tv.
What a player! What a man! Stay with us Ruben your a wolves legend ❤
This isn't a good omen. Wolves media team usually put these things out ahead of a transfer news post.
And see his celebration rashford trying to say it’s his 😂😂
To be in the Southbonk that night and that goal will live with me forever !!!
!!!Shivers!!!
Nice❤❤
What a coincidence! I randomly watched the goal again about an hour ago, and then I see this.
Fantastic video idea, love this club
Deep joy
1st one to comment!🎉
This could be a sign that he’s not gonna be with wolves much longer
unfortunately that's likely true
