Mostly because of the plot and nature of this TV series, I learned how to make good friends and get along well with other people in real life. PWPH will always be a hit! We need more shows like this nowadays and beyond.
I guess from 10:41 to 11:44: When this show reran on FOX Family in the late 1990s, the segment in which Pee-wee Herman makes sun tea was cut, as making homemade sun tea can breed bacteria that can cause illness and/or death in some people. The edit was also made when the episode was released on VHS through MGM and United Artists. The Adult Swim rerun has this uncut. The DVD version is uncut as well, but contains a warning in the beginning that states that making sun tea can be dangerous.
Contrary to popular belief,The sun tea making sequence is included in the mgm ua release. I have the mgm ua tape with this episode and the sun tea making scene is includedm
The DVD release had a disclaimer at the start of the episode explaining the possibility of bacteria & illness. It recommends children to make it with their parent or adult guardian.
22:39 Can anyone confirm that the on the MGM/UA VHS the presidents have OH! faces when Pee-wee flies across them? I remember it that way and this is the only episode where we can hear their expression on the DVD and Blu-ray.
~Disclaimer: Never make tea in the sunny, people!! ☀️☀️☕☕
Nice!! Two secret words in one episode!! Love it!!
Finally! I thought I'd imagined this opening and episode LOL

@@stewie17 I can confirm. I also have the MGM collection and learned to make sun tea from this episode. ☺

This was Floory and Clocky’s introduction
I'm surprised he didn't have Clocky in season 1 because Clocky was already in the original stage show, as seen in the 1981 HBO special
@@WinkDaMan07 Ms Rene was debut in this episode too.
There's no reason to not make sun tea if the jar is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Bacteria won't just grow in an airtight container.
Season 2 opener, first episode where Pee Wee wears a helmet at the end when he rides his motorcycle, as it would always be from that point on.
He didn't do the chin-strap up though. That wouldn't be allowed now :-)
THANK YOU!

Yes, they do, but it only happens in two or three episodes. I've had the MGM collection since 1996 and always thought that was funny.
Why is it diffrent colrs?
How about "Funhouse"? Just asking/saying!
Hah... It's Billy baloney!

Why are there colors off
I'm pretty sure it's because that if there are full colors in the video, it would be taken down.

Yes
In this video they had to do the intro because this is an open house.
No more Dixie on that season
why did they remove dixie
The reason some of the actors and characters changed was because the show moved from New York to California, and not all of them were able to follow.
I miss Dixie
