Amazing content, its always amazing to watch not just how you guys fish but also how you film and approach every new adventure. You are a big inspiration for a young captain like me who is trying to follow your foot steps. Thanks a lot for the great content.
My 9 year old and I watch all of your LK shows, Ali and Rush...Namotu was off the chain, some bucket list action! Went to their website, a dude can dream 🙌
Great video! I’m born and raised in Fiji islands and now reside in california(more to Oceanside, ca). This video Definitely made me want to go back and fish all over again! (Yasawa islands is one of the best spots for big fishes)
I'd love to be able to travel the world and fish like you guy's have been able too! Keep up the GREAT work gentlemen. I've heard the ramps in San Diego are opening!! Can't wait to get on the water soon! 👍👍
@@LocalKnowledge Will do!! I'll hopefully be going in a couple of weeks. I'd love to meet you guy's at the ramps. I hope you guy's are doing well with all that is going on. Stay safe gentlemen. 👍👍
Ali, Two things: 1.) Have already figure out how to build my own "line clamp" box. You can rest easy knowing that I won't be asking for a DIY video on this anymore. :-)) 2.) A good idea on new places you and Rush could focus future videos would be off the coast of southern Peru extending south all the way down to the Patagonia region of Chile. Both the salt and freshwater fishing is on a magnificent scale. The Humboldt current after traveling across Antarctica (west to east) turns northward up the west coast of S. America. PRO's: a.) Considered "France of the southern Hemisphere". The wine vineyards and production is second to none. b.) Many remote and active fishing islands similar to Catalina off the coast west of Santiago. c.) Giant squid populations. d.) In years past it was known to have miles of "Marlin" piled up on the beaches from the fisherman's efforts along the southern Peruvian waters. e.) The salmon caught there are reported to have the least mercury content than any other place worldwide. f.) Snow skiing and surfing at "world class" levels. Held the World Surfing Championship in "Arica" Chile. g.) A golden gem of fishing to a certain extent not being followed or reported on by today's mainstream fishing organizations. Thanks to you, Rush, & BD Outdoors for all the places you bring in to focus. But, there are MANY MANY more places left to experience. Best of luck always, John Hollis
thanks for the suggestions John. Lower south america is on our list for sure. We just need this virus to move on so we can get back to filming. Stay tuned.
Local Knowledge Fishing Show I wish I had the words but I don’t… You guys really bring a lot of happiness to me. I truly love your show. Wish you guys all the success in the world
When you are using top water lures for tuna, how much leader are you using? Are you using only 3 feet so the knot doesn’t go into the guides or do you use more?
Find a good operation in your area and volunteer to work for free for a month. That will usually get you in the door. Hard work and dedication is all it takes. Good luck.

Slide it to the top and add Namotu. Just world class.
Amazing! The 320CC is perfect for Fiji!
We love our SeaVees but the World Cat wasn't too shabby!
Would love to see you guys fish the east cost specifically long island, Montauk. fishing the stripped bass and the summer offshore bite.
It's been on our list for a long time. We will get back to the Northeast soon.

That World Cat is the bomb
We enjoyed our time on it, but it's not a SeaVee
Rush looks like a retired NFL linebacker

Usually 5' to 6', but yes, short top shots only.
Sure makes you want to go to Fiji
Or go back. Like right now. haha.
I am soooooo jelly.
Don't blame ya!
@@LocalKnowledge I live in Temecula, ya know... would it hurt you to take me out once or twice? lol
What set up is rush using rod and reel ?
No sure which you mean. It's all PENN Gear and they used a lot of rigs.
He needs a flat brim hat!!!!
We'll work on it!
That place should have big big big marlin
They Do! We just didn't encounter any on this trip.
The Hawaiian way, big lures high speed ,1000 fathoms line... should work
Great tv show my top 3
Hi ali.. Is there any chance to help me to fulfill my dream and work in the fishing profession... Please
Find a good operation in your area and volunteer to work for free for a month. That will usually get you in the door. Hard work and dedication is all it takes. Good luck.
Wish you would practice catch and release, sponsors take note.
We keep maybe 20% of what we catch. If it's a good eating fish though, we don't hesitate to take it.
Bitchin' show!!!! Keep 'em coming.
Thanks much Erik! Best of luck this season.
🔥
Thanks!
A lot
The best.
Great show but i would like to see less talking and more fishing personally.
Noted and thank you for watching.
