I am not good at life, but I feel like I can understand where you're coming from as someone who kinda feels the same... so I'm just gonna say what I think and have learned... I know a lot of the things you hate about yourself can be healed, or appreciated by someone who understands your struggles. I know you can, because you care. I think you need to love yourself more before you find someone who can be that vulnerable, close, and loving with you, because you seem to struggle being appreciative of yourself on your own time. I struggle with this. You CAN find someone who cares for you if you stay positive and look to the bright side of life. I realized the more I love myself and believe in my capabilities, the easier it is to see the good in every conversation and person. Especially romantically, where you become a team with someone and need to adapt, bend, and have your ego challenged. Mindset is important, if you tell yourself you'll never experience it or you're worthless or whatever the case... then it can easily become a self fulfilling prophecy because it changes your attitude and perception.

I never cry. I'm what my friends call an alpha male. At first I thought it was a joke but then I realized it's a compliment since they are so insistent about it. But I have to say guys who don't get compliments very much and deal with so much manipulation and illogical bs. Those first few lines of script hit so hard... Right in the feels. Mlp characters are so pure and they're willingness and wanting to help and bring out the best in others is so otherworldly, that it can bring the strongest of man to his knees.
