Неделю назад установил себе такую же магнитолу. Во внешнем микрофоне нет необходимости - достаточно и встроенного, собеседник слышит хорошо. В месте установки экрана есть ниши с обеих сторон, в которые идеально помещается GPS антенна и её не нужно выводить из-под обшивки наружу. На качество приёма сигнала спутников это не влияет. Из негатива: - магнитола работает только с включенным зажиганием (в отличии от оригинальной); - приём радио сильно хуже, т.к. магнитола не даёт питание на усилитель активной антенны (в отличии от оригинальной); - если не подключить экран ремней безопасности, будет светиться ошибка подушек безопасности. Я так же докупал крепление под старый экран, как и Вы, но использовал его иначе: сделал в нём отверстия под экран ремней безопасности, вместо экрана компьютера, и добавил разъём под USB и AUX (вот такой: aliexpress.ru/item/32800706097.html?spm=a2g39.orderlist.0.0.2e1d4aa64l673j&_ga=2.41456034.1895888028.1626901737-2036409899.1626781826&item_id=32800706097&sku_id=64212748419 ), лишнее пространство заполнил пластиком из 3D ручки. Затем выровнял поверхность шпатлёвкой, зашкурил и покрасил с баллончика.
Great video Adrian, and thank you for the english instructions! 😉 For a few years i've been wanting to buy one of these for my 207, but all Peugeot/Citroen cars built in the last 20 years are equipped with that annoying Energy Economy Mode that enables after 30 minutes listening to the radio with the engine off, and then you have to start your engine and keep it running for several minutes just to give you another 30 minutes of electronics.😠 What's the point of having a juiced up Multimedia unit if you can't enjoy it for more than 30 minutes, especially when you have to wait for an hour or more in your car, which is quite common to happen. 😔 Anyway, my question is, for Adrian or anybody else who has this unit in their Peugeot/Citroen, does the Energy Economy Mode still cut your electronics after 30 minutes with this new Android Multimedia unit installed in the car?

@@AdrianDragan I was fooled by the red sowing on the steering wheel, usually comes standard in those versions (mine is the Sport version), so maybe it's a customized sowing. Hello. I can't make a new video about this unit because the car is not mine, but the owner says it works very well after 9 months. Leave the display with the belts attached to its socket in the dashboard, otherwise you may receive an airbag or belt error because it no longer sees that display. P.S. I will soon do an installation tutorial and review about a new navigation with 9 inch screen :)

Hi. It depends on the canbus decoder you have now connected to the Android unit, not all decoders are compatible with the car screen. Hi. Even if you do not see that screen leave it connected and put it in the dashboard, if you do not connect it you will have an airbag error because the car computer will not detect it.

I have installed their new unit with android 12 (octa core 4gb ram 64ssd). It only has the head unit and does not have the radio part. Works very good. Only problem I notice is the airbag signal that pops when I connect the car. The workaround was to keep the small airbag/seatbelt display connected (hiden behind the dashboard. Did you encounter the same problem?
Hi. I had the same problem, the solution was to leave connected that small display with the lights for the airbag and seat belts behind the Android screen.
@@AdrianDragan exactly what I did. The simplesoft canbus box works ok but has you mentioned (and I bought it) the raise psa-rz-01 does everything. However I have a problem which is that the canbus settings (when using the Raise) disappeared/are removed when I stop the car. Meaning everytime I start the car I need to go to factory settings - canbus settings and choose the options super annoying!! The pin for this unit is 3368
I also bought a Android 12 PX5 octacore 4+64GB for a Peugeot 207 CC. I had to change the Canbus protocol and after several attempts I found one that made the steering wheel buttons work, the board computer screen works and the open door alert works (but only for about 1 second, even if the door stays open and I can't find any option to keep the alert image while the door is open... I only get the image again when the door is closed). I am getting no warning when the boot is open or when the hood is opening/closing. Does the Raise PSA-RZ01 solve these problems?

Hello. Yes, in the package you get everything you need for the Android unit to work well on your car. If you want to keep the original on-board computer screen, you have to buy adapter frames and possibly a new canbus adapter. See the links in the clip description.
Hi. The seat belt indicator screen remains behind the Android screen, you must leave it connected. The Android screen doesn't show warnings that you don't have your seat belt on.

Hi Andrian. I finally got this system installed on my daughters 2008 - 207cc (but the unit is android 11) and got some questions. Took me some time to get the Raiser canbus to work correctly, only thing not working is when I press the tip button on the wiper only the org screen shows consumption - it does not show on the android screen (then I need to click on the app). But I have 2 other problems, 1) when powering down - the android unit shuts of ofcourse - but it also forgets the time and reverts to china time... why is this? seems the unit dont get power to keep the time correct? 2) do you know of a better camera fit? I bought the linked camera and problem is that 50% is blocked by the booth lip.. the camera is partly behind the metall. this camera replaces the licenseplate light, but the camera should have been a little bit lower.. anyway - biggest issue is 1)... having to set the time every time you enter the car.
Hello. 1. I think that the power wires are not connected correctly in the plug that connects to the power cable, probably the + ACC wire is inverted with the + 12v wire. 2. The camera ... Maybe you need have a narrower camera as a field of view. I don't know how it looks on the screen. Can you attach a picture somewhere and leave me a link here? What version of Raise canbus do you use?
raise is the same version as in your links. but I just ordered the ..65 version to test it but takes many weeks befare i get it. Also the backup sensors seem to be offline, only got camera. I will check the connector and move the pin. Guess I need a new tool for that..

checked the pins in the car. 1 give 12v when ignition is off - its blue. on the android connector side it is green and goes the canbus (raiser 01) connector. ie the raiser gets continues 12v when ignition is off

Hello. I have not encountered this problem so far that the Bluetooth application disappears when you connect another Canbus module. I think a general reset of the Android drive could bring the Bluetooth application back.

Hello. The display of the outside temperature depends on the type of Android unit and the canbus decoder model. You may have to activate this option, I think it would be through the Factory Settings menu.

Guys, is a couple of month that my screen after few kilometers i drive the car ( and the engine is heat) start to flickering and I can not see anyhing anymore. I need to way the day after(once the engine is cold) to see again the screen. Does someone has the same problem? What can it ne pls?
or maybe your particle filter is too dirty so when u drive the car has not enough power for ur autoradio thats why ur engine heat and ur screen blackout

Ciao. Collega il vecchio pannello che ha le lampadine dell'airbag e della cintura di sicurezza, l'errore dell'airbag scomparirà. Per poter controllare lo schermo, è necessario disporre di un decoder canbus PSA-RZ-01 e deve essere impostato correttamente nel menu Canbus. Vedi nel mio video al minuto 15:00
Hi Adrian, I bought the 9 inch and it was more or less easy to setup, but I am facing some difficulties you might be able to answer. 1. The decoder I got was the P/N:G-RZ-PSA65 (RAISE) and I have a peugeot 208. When I try to add the canbus/decoder under the settings no matter what I choose it says I have to update the MCU upgrade package? What does that mean? Would of course love to have the steering wheel functions for music and such. 2. I should be able to attach my android auto via bluetooth cable, but it doesn't immediately recognise it and I don't know how to set this up? 3. for the original orange screen with motor information and such, after I removed the old radio (we do not want a CD/radio, but a compartment) it is just blinking waiting for us to set date, time and such which I don't know how to?
Hello. 1. Some Android units need to download their settings online for each type of Canbus, this means that your Android tablet must be connected to the Internet. So make sure you have an Internet connection (WiFi via Hotspot or Internet SIM card) when you make the settings. 2. You probably need to open an application. I don't know which application it is, but you could ask the seller you bought it from how Android Auto works. 3. But do you have a Peugeot 207 or 208?

If you can't see the canbus selection menu, go into 'car' settings then 'factory settings' it will ask for a password, this will be 126 and you'll then be able to change canbus and logo settings etc
@@cookbookforcannibals Which canbus protocol did you choose for your 207cc? I have tried many until I found one that had the trip computer working and also the steering wheel buttons working. But he open door sign only shows for a second and then disappers, even if the door keeps open. It only show again when closing the door. No boot open warning and no roof opening/closing warning. I got the android 12 which didn't have the boot logo and had the RDS disabled in the factory settings. The problem is that there are lots of things in factory settings that I dont know what they do in fact...
These types of units are expensive because they come in two separate modules: the central unit (radio) and the screen. But there are 9-inch Android units that are a single module with the screen and their price is lower but the performance is just as good. As for the experience of using it over time, I have been using Android navigation on my 308 for two years and it works without problems. The best are the versions with Octa core processors and at least 4Gb ram memory, usually these include DSP (Digital Signal Processor) for audio and the sound experience is better than the original radio unit in Peugeot / Citroen cars, this also includes Apple Carplay modules / Android Auto Wireless which is a great addition. Hi! So, the Allure version has the factory installed navigation without the system matrix screen. I guess I need to buy that matrix screen also? And is this the only extra unit I need to buy? Or is it at all possible to do this with the built-in navigation screen which also functions the same like the matrix screen in other versions. Erorile pot fi afisate numai pe modelele de navigatii Android ce vin cu procesoare Octa-core și decodor canbus Simple Soft XP, din pacate niciodată vânzătorii nu precizează ce decodor canbus este în pachet și pe piața exista vreo 5 modele diferite. Pentru acele mesaje de informare eu recomand sa păstrezi și ecranul original instalandu-l cu ajutorul ramei despre care vorbesc în clip.

Salutare. Da, eu recomand sa instalezi ecranu asa cum spuneai folosind acea rama. Semnalul audio se va auzi chiar dacă nu instalezi ecranul deoarece este emis de un difuzor ce se găsește sub volan.
Procesorul hexa este de generație mai noua cu performante ușor peste cele ale procesorului Octa, deci îl recomand. Dar și octacore-ul se descurca foarte bine.

Hello. On this car the system did not give any error, it works very well. However, if you make an original Peugeot diagnosis (Diagbox) you will find an error on the radio because the car's computer sees that the original radio is no longer connected, otherwise it works very well.

Неделю назад установил себе такую же магнитолу.
Во внешнем микрофоне нет необходимости - достаточно и встроенного, собеседник слышит хорошо. В месте установки экрана есть ниши с обеих сторон, в которые идеально помещается GPS антенна и её не нужно выводить из-под обшивки наружу. На качество приёма сигнала спутников это не влияет.
Из негатива:
- магнитола работает только с включенным зажиганием (в отличии от оригинальной);
- приём радио сильно хуже, т.к. магнитола не даёт питание на усилитель активной антенны (в отличии от оригинальной);
- если не подключить экран ремней безопасности, будет светиться ошибка подушек безопасности.
Я так же докупал крепление под старый экран, как и Вы, но использовал его иначе: сделал в нём отверстия под экран ремней безопасности, вместо экрана компьютера, и добавил разъём под USB и AUX (вот такой: aliexpress.ru/item/32800706097.html?spm=a2g39.orderlist.0.0.2e1d4aa64l673j&_ga=2.41456034.1895888028.1626901737-2036409899.1626781826&item_id=32800706097&sku_id=64212748419 ), лишнее пространство заполнил пластиком из 3D ручки. Затем выровнял поверхность шпатлёвкой, зашкурил и покрасил с баллончика.

For a few years i've been wanting to buy one of these for my 207, but all Peugeot/Citroen cars built in the last 20 years are equipped with that annoying Energy Economy Mode that enables after 30 minutes listening to the radio with the engine off, and then you have to start your engine and keep it running for several minutes just to give you another 30 minutes of electronics.😠
What's the point of having a juiced up Multimedia unit if you can't enjoy it for more than 30 minutes, especially when you have to wait for an hour or more in your car, which is quite common to happen. 😔
Anyway, my question is, for Adrian or anybody else who has this unit in their Peugeot/Citroen, does the Energy Economy Mode still cut your electronics after 30 minutes with this new Android Multimedia unit installed in the car?

Hello. I can't make a new video about this unit because the car is not mine, but the owner says it works very well after 9 months. Leave the display with the belts attached to its socket in the dashboard, otherwise you may receive an airbag or belt error because it no longer sees that display.
P.S. I will soon do an installation tutorial and review about a new navigation with 9 inch screen :)

Hi. Even if you do not see that screen leave it connected and put it in the dashboard, if you do not connect it you will have an airbag error because the car computer will not detect it.

I have installed their new unit with android 12 (octa core 4gb ram 64ssd). It only has the head unit and does not have the radio part. Works very good. Only problem I notice is the airbag signal that pops when I connect the car. The workaround was to keep the small airbag/seatbelt display connected (hiden behind the dashboard. Did you encounter the same problem?
Hi. I had the same problem, the solution was to leave connected that small display with the lights for the airbag and seat belts behind the Android screen.
@@AdrianDragan exactly what I did. The simplesoft canbus box works ok but has you mentioned (and I bought it) the raise psa-rz-01 does everything. However I have a problem which is that the canbus settings (when using the Raise) disappeared/are removed when I stop the car. Meaning everytime I start the car I need to go to factory settings - canbus settings and choose the options super annoying!! The pin for this unit is 3368
I also bought a Android 12 PX5 octacore 4+64GB for a Peugeot 207 CC. I had to change the Canbus protocol and after several attempts I found one that made the steering wheel buttons work, the board computer screen works and the open door alert works (but only for about 1 second, even if the door stays open and I can't find any option to keep the alert image while the door is open... I only get the image again when the door is closed).
I am getting no warning when the boot is open or when the hood is opening/closing. Does the Raise PSA-RZ01 solve these problems?

Hello. Yes, in the package you get everything you need for the Android unit to work well on your car. If you want to keep the original on-board computer screen, you have to buy adapter frames and possibly a new canbus adapter. See the links in the clip description.

Hi. The seat belt indicator screen remains behind the Android screen, you must leave it connected. The Android screen doesn't show warnings that you don't have your seat belt on.

I am in love with this multimedia system idea, but I am a little worried about its endurance over time. My 207 has 11 years already and not a single issue with audio system...
How it is working nowadays your friends system? It just has few more time than a year (based on the upload date of the tutorial), not much time in order to determine endurance over time (ie. from 5 to 10 years) but... You know, this is what worries me the most as the invest for every functionality I intend to install goes to ~600€, not a joke.

Hi Andrian. I finally got this system installed on my daughters 2008 - 207cc (but the unit is android 11) and got some questions. Took me some time to get the Raiser canbus to work correctly, only thing not working is when I press the tip button on the wiper only the org screen shows consumption - it does not show on the android screen (then I need to click on the app). But I have 2 other problems, 1) when powering down - the android unit shuts of ofcourse - but it also forgets the time and reverts to china time... why is this? seems the unit dont get power to keep the time correct? 2) do you know of a better camera fit? I bought the linked camera and problem is that 50% is blocked by the booth lip.. the camera is partly behind the metall. this camera replaces the licenseplate light, but the camera should have been a little bit lower.. anyway - biggest issue is 1)... having to set the time every time you enter the car.

1. I think that the power wires are not connected correctly in the plug that connects to the power cable, probably the + ACC wire is inverted with the + 12v wire.
2. The camera ... Maybe you need have a narrower camera as a field of view. I don't know how it looks on the screen. Can you attach a picture somewhere and leave me a link here?
What version of Raise canbus do you use?
raise is the same version as in your links. but I just ordered the ..65 version to test it but takes many weeks befare i get it. Also the backup sensors seem to be offline, only got camera. I will check the connector and move the pin. Guess I need a new tool for that..

checked the pins in the car. 1 give 12v when ignition is off - its blue. on the android connector side it is green and goes the canbus (raiser 01) connector. ie the raiser gets continues 12v when ignition is off

Hello. I have not encountered this problem so far that the Bluetooth application disappears when you connect another Canbus module. I think a general reset of the Android drive could bring the Bluetooth application back.

Hello. The display of the outside temperature depends on the type of Android unit and the canbus decoder model. You may have to activate this option, I think it would be through the Factory Settings menu.

Guys, is a couple of month that my screen after few kilometers i drive the car ( and the engine is heat) start to flickering and I can not see anyhing anymore. I need to way the day after(once the engine is cold) to see again the screen. Does someone has the same problem? What can it ne pls?
reduce the screen brightness if this do nothing check your battery maybe this old and can produce enough power for the system

Per poter controllare lo schermo, è necessario disporre di un decoder canbus PSA-RZ-01 e deve essere impostato correttamente nel menu Canbus. Vedi nel mio video al minuto 15:00

Hi Adrian, I bought the 9 inch and it was more or less easy to setup, but I am facing some difficulties you might be able to answer.
1. The decoder I got was the P/N:G-RZ-PSA65 (RAISE) and I have a peugeot 208. When I try to add the canbus/decoder under the settings no matter what I choose it says I have to update the MCU upgrade package? What does that mean? Would of course love to have the steering wheel functions for music and such.
2. I should be able to attach my android auto via bluetooth cable, but it doesn't immediately recognise it and I don't know how to set this up?
3. for the original orange screen with motor information and such, after I removed the old radio (we do not want a CD/radio, but a compartment) it is just blinking waiting for us to set date, time and such which I don't know how to?

1. Some Android units need to download their settings online for each type of Canbus, this means that your Android tablet must be connected to the Internet. So make sure you have an Internet connection (WiFi via Hotspot or Internet SIM card) when you make the settings.
2. You probably need to open an application. I don't know which application it is, but you could ask the seller you bought it from how Android Auto works.
3. But do you have a Peugeot 207 or 208?

@@adisorucu I've just installed the px6 (android 11) version on my 207cc. Same process but i'm trying to find somewhere to feed through the usb and gps wires. If you can't see the canbus selection menu, go into 'car' settings then 'factory settings' it will ask for a password, this will be 126 and you'll then be able to change canbus and logo settings etc
@@cookbookforcannibals Which canbus protocol did you choose for your 207cc? I have tried many until I found one that had the trip computer working and also the steering wheel buttons working. But he open door sign only shows for a second and then disappers, even if the door keeps open. It only show again when closing the door. No boot open warning and no roof opening/closing warning. I got the android 12 which didn't have the boot logo and had the RDS disabled in the factory settings. The problem is that there are lots of things in factory settings that I dont know what they do in fact...

Hello. That screen remained connected inside the dashboard. The Android screen does not show data about connecting the seat belts.
It's nice but expensive for a chinese brand, don't know about he audio quality and how long it will last.
These types of units are expensive because they come in two separate modules: the central unit (radio) and the screen. But there are 9-inch Android units that are a single module with the screen and their price is lower but the performance is just as good. As for the experience of using it over time, I have been using Android navigation on my 308 for two years and it works without problems. The best are the versions with Octa core processors and at least 4Gb ram memory, usually these include DSP (Digital Signal Processor) for audio and the sound experience is better than the original radio unit in Peugeot / Citroen cars, this also includes Apple Carplay modules / Android Auto Wireless which is a great addition.

So, the Allure version has the factory installed navigation without the system matrix screen.
I guess I need to buy that matrix screen also? And is this the only extra unit I need to buy? Or is it at all possible to do this with the built-in navigation screen which also functions the same like the matrix screen in other versions.

Erorile pot fi afisate numai pe modelele de navigatii Android ce vin cu procesoare Octa-core și decodor canbus Simple Soft XP, din pacate niciodată vânzătorii nu precizează ce decodor canbus este în pachet și pe piața exista vreo 5 modele diferite. Pentru acele mesaje de informare eu recomand sa păstrezi și ecranul original instalandu-l cu ajutorul ramei despre care vorbesc în clip.

Salutare. Da, eu recomand sa instalezi ecranu asa cum spuneai folosind acea rama. Semnalul audio se va auzi chiar dacă nu instalezi ecranul deoarece este emis de un difuzor ce se găsește sub volan.
Procesorul hexa este de generație mai noua cu performante ușor peste cele ale procesorului Octa, deci îl recomand. Dar și octacore-ul se descurca foarte bine.
