I've watched hundreds of sim videos over the years and this is one of the best. Beautifully edited and shot. It also demonstrates that there is still life in FSX, which with a little investment gives P3d a good run for its money and frankly makes x plane 11 look amateur (and yes I have all three sims), so I am not biased but looking as fairly as possible at all three. Your render is amazingly smooth. Hardly a single stutter. Congrats on a fine production.
Nice work, LOWI is pleasing when you get it right! Say, when using some of the external CP cam positions, how are you moving the cam around a little? I use an XBox controller but often find that if you move in more than 1 plane at the same time, the video can judder, ruining things (even with good weighting on the cam)
I also use an XBox controller and I don't have that problem. Only when I'm rotating a static world camera that's close to the aircraft. You should take a look at the support forum.
I have never seen your videos before and stumbled apon it by accident! Bravo dude, really good and I love the camera angles. (I didn't think FSX could look so nice coming from P3d)

This is the approach: charts.vacc-austria.org/LOWI/LOWI_Approach_Visual%20Approach_19012016.pdf The final turn is very difficult because you have to descent quite a lot while eyeballing the turn radius so that you line up with the runway. After that it's just a normal approach and landing on a short runway (so no time for kiss landings)

Absolutely the best video produced, I've seen to date!... Your perfect sequence of shots and use of split screens makes for a very realistic and enjoyable video! I'm very impressed!... Having recently acquired the 'Austria PRO' and 'Innsbruck Approach', I've yet to attempt this landing. I've debated now for a few years about investing again in ORBX. They truly have some wonderful 'auto-gen' scenery as shown here. In the absence of 'Mega Scenery Earth products in a lot of geographical areas, I'm tempted to try again. I'd surely need some help understanding the installation and use of, but their website seemed so difficult and the software seemed truly non-intuitive. The one product I had installed, insisted that my FSX run inside what appeared to be an ORBX shell (OS). Wasn't very happy that it seemed to imply that all my future choices would solely be determined by ORBX... Do they now have an 'UnInstall' included with their software?
Please watch some real world footage. I don't know why so many people believe you are only allowed to engage reversers after the nose wheel has touched down?
Because they think it will cause the aircraft to lose lift so quickly that the nose will slam hard onto the runway. Which... doesn't really make sense.
creeperexplodes _45 my advice is at when the nosewheel is coming down just give idle reverse and when touch you can or keep it idle or furhter reverse thrust
British Airways stopped being "British" years ago. They are "London" Airways only these days. Easyjet, Flybe and Ryanair fly from the other UK airports

Sorry, my French isn't the best. The Airbus X and Airbus X Extended are very old. The current version is the Aerosoft Airbus A320/A321 or A318/A319. FS2Crew works with this version, I'm not sure about the old Extended/X. I think that's what you were asking.
I select the parking spot for each view at a different time on the ground so that I always have a view to switch to in Premiere Pro where you don't see the GSX menu
hi marcel - wie immer unheimlich tolles video, die szenerien sind echt schick und überhaupt sehr cool geflogen. da krieg ich richtig lust den eigenen FSX mal wieder aus der versenkung zu holen und auf den neuesten stand zu bringen, soweit eben möglich für ein über 10 jahre altes programm *g* eine sache möchte ich aber dennoch ansprechen - in den letzten paar videos fiel mir diese "sphärige" musikuntermalung in den ersten minuten auf, .. immerhin nicht in den wirklich interessanten stellen ;) .. dennoch würde ich anregen darauf weitestgehend zu verzichten und nicht dem leider weitverbreiteten trend zu folgen alles und wirklich alles mit irgendeiner undefinierten klangsoße zu übermalen ... find ich unnötig über ablenkend bis zu störend. :/ ansonsten aber weiter so - schaue deine videos wirklich sehr gerne! (achja, flieg doch mal über heilbronn oder so. ;D )

Damit kann ich natürlich nicht den Geschmack von allen Zuschauern treffen. Soweit wie möglich verzichte ich auf Musik, aber ganz ohne geht es leider nicht. Grundsätzlich stimme ich dir vollkommen zu, was den übermäßigen Gebrauch davon angeht! Ich hoffe, dass du das verstehst und meine zukünftigen Videos trotzdem genießen kannst ;-)
hallihallo - na klar, das verstehe ich voll und ganz. wie gesagt, es scheint halt wohl trend/zeitgeist/hörerwartung zu sein (fiel mir auch schon bei diversen spielfilmen auf - vor 30..40 jahren hatte man ohne weiteres mal minutenlange actionszenen ohne musikuntermalung - heutzutage schier undenkbar ;) ) und wenn viele sich das so wünschen, dann würde ich es an deiner stelle natürlich auch irgendwie berücksichtigen. .. und solange es sich nur auf die ersten paar minuten beschränkt und die besonders interessanten teile verschont bleiben will ich auch nich allzusehr meckern ;) .. und werde selbstverständlich gerne deine weiteren videos schauen ;) viele grüße, fred.
Eigentlich sehr gut, komme trotzdem nur langsam voran. Durch die Videos habe ich wenig Zeit daran zu arbeiten. Fortschritte poste ich immer mal wieder auf der Fangzahn FB-Seite (Link in der Videobeschreibung). Ich schätze aber, dass ich die Szenerie im Sommer endlich fertig habe.

Danke, wünsche ich mir auch, aber ob ich mehr als PPL machen möchte, weiß ich noch nicht :-) Ich benutze die Version 1607 und habe keine Probleme. Letze Woche habe ich das neue Creator's Update instlliert und musste feststellen, dass FSX überhaupt nicht mehr startete. P3D lief problemlos. Nach ein paar Versuchen habe ich die Installation rückgängig gemacht und war beruhigt, dass FSX wieder funktioniert hat. War kurz vor einem Nervenzusammenbruch... ;-)
Bitte schön, lass sich einfach Pilot werden egal für welche Maschine, und ob du Lukla Flughafen kennst (bestimmt), mach mal bitte ein vedio aber real fliegen, in 6 Jahren habe ich noch nich geschaft zu landen wenn alles real anstelle. Da ist ILS=0 :-) LG

Big mistake I'm a trained aircraft Marshall, and at the end of the clip ,a vehicle passes between the Marshall and the aircraft this is not allowed in any circumstances until the Marshall gives permission once the aircraft has become stationary and wheels chocked. This is CAA Authority, law

It's a replay, not a live sim. FSX is old and unoptimized, with lots of problems. Hopefully FS2020 will rule the next decade.

you dont disengage auto throttle until ur 100 ft above (depending on airline SOP) , u pull back to idle when ur 20ft above ,

i agree i always activate reverse thrust as soon as main gears touch down then i gently lower the nose gear down! in FSX

Thanks Mr. President! ;-) I think it was around 30. I still had 24 fps with all sliders at maximum during the recording of the different views.

Why didn't you use the FlightSimLabs a330?
There is no A330 from Flight Sim Labs but I think you meant the A320. I don't like their Airbus and I stopped flying it a long time ago.

Big mistake I'm a trained aircraft Marshall, and at the end of the clip ,a vehicle passes between the Marshall and the aircraft this is not allowed in any circumstances until the Marshall gives permission once the aircraft has become stationary and wheels chocked. This is CAA Authority, law
I think this virtual aircraft marshall should be punished to the fullest extent for violating the CAA Authority law!
