    could you create a playlist featuring projects you can make using leftover scraps using say pieces smaller than 2-3'?

    This weave looks flatter (and better) than the one shown in the e-mail.

    Of all the paracord how-to videos, I like yours the best...love this design with 3 colors...I am now tasked with making this with Philadelphia Eagles colors for my daughter's fiancée!

    Does the white cord at the beginning get trimmed and singed as well?

    Shawn, do you remember how much of each you actually used? I know you had roughly 6' of each but I couldn't tell how much you had leftover.

      I had about 1.5 feet of each left over.

      Good evening. I made a black, white and hot pink one. It's amazing and I had quite a bit of cord left. Love this paracord, crafting.

    I am confused. You started the tutorial bringing the white up through the loop and down through the center. On the third pass you changed it up and started taking the white through the middle first and then through the loop. Which is right?

    • @brian526
      @brian526 10 років тому

      I noticed the same thing. Not sure which is right. I thought my eyes were playing tricks... I tried it the "second" way and the start of the weave looks all wonky...

    • @duanedes1gn
      @duanedes1gn 10 років тому

      The way its done at first, I believe, is the correct way. Bringing the white up through the loop and back down through the center worked for me.

    is there some magical way of tightening this thing because mine doesn't look anything close to his... I swear I'm doing everything exactly like him but it always looks like garbage. I've watched the video 5 times and tried over and over but it never comes out right. I think I have paracord dyslexia

    • @808Tunahed
      @808Tunahed 6 років тому +1

      These are tightened the same way you do a Shark Jaw Bone pattern- you will use thumb and forefinger to squeeze bends tight to the start as you tighten working ends and twist in correct alignment. It takes a few to get the feel- but once U figure it out- they all come out awesome

    I like this. It's a modification of my favorite Shark Jawbone weave. :)

  • @gagecreed1232
    @gagecreed1232 2 роки тому

    Made that so much harder then it needs to be. Just wrap the white one first and then you do the weave like you would for a shark jaw bone knot.. I'm totally confused as to why you would wanna run the white cord last, it's so much more work... try it my way, thank me later. You're welcome..

    How can I purchase your instructions videos on cds

    • @ArkBeatsJS
      @ArkBeatsJS 7 років тому

      Bruce Burnett Use a UA-cam video downloader and burn the videos to a blank DVD. That way it only costs whatever you paid for the blank discs. I just download the videos onto my phone so I can watch them when I don't have wifi.

    Yo I really love how this tie looks, great job man! Working on my sixth tie of this using different colors and I'm loving each one. I use a jig my Dad made for me and I find threading the center strand as the first step instead of the last step before tightening much easier. Cheers! :)

      My edited response: The front AND back of my second bracelet now look like Shawn's (only white and red showing on the back). This I accomplished by weaving the white cord UP through the center and DOWN through the loop, I don't know why Shawn did it both ways on his bracelet, but I am now sticking with my solution. Hoorah!

    100' of paracord. I pay $4.50 for 100' hank, you being in the paracord business prolly get a 100' hank for $3.00, which is pretty cheap. Wow!!!!!!! Let's just say that's like winning $5 bucks, big fuckin deal!!!!!! The guy that won probably spent hundreds of dollars buying paracord from you. Free 100 feet of paracord, keep it, you need it way more than any of us.

    Bored! You need to try and follow your instructions in this video and you might then realise how confusing this is. You should really remake this but show the knots a few more times. Smh. I'm about to give up trying this one
