As an avenged fan myself, I thoroughly enjoy watching someone that doesn’t particularly enjoy their music react to it. You pick out the pieces that resonate with you and recognize where it just doesn’t hit for you, it’s fun to me see you still find bits that you like in there. I’m sorry you have to deal with the idiot fans, they don’t understand that art is subjective for some reason.

Cosmic is a great ballad, its pretty chill compositionally so you will probably like it

This is by far my favorite song on the album. The one I don't get the super love for is Mattel tbh. Something about this song is fantastic to me. I love the story and the thrash parts

This album is like wine, at first it tastes bitter and you dont like it, but the more you taste the more you get to enjoy it.
Game Over is my favorite song of the album, theres just something about the song exploding at the end. The timing is just so perfect and the explosion of guitar, vocals, bass and drums is so orgasmic and i loved it.

Truly Shadow said that was very purposeful with the transitions... Which is absolutely fine.... But not everybody is going to like that and that's also okay. I personally like that it's a little strange, but I don't get offended if somebody doesn't feel the same.
Although I do agree that some of these songs are very weird and the decisions made are strange if not bad. But the song changing at the end is not a reason to dislike the song to any degree considering mostly all of their songs change to a clean part. Think Bat Country (twice) and Buried Alive

While it has quite a few bangers, 72 Seasons is kinda the same as the rest of Metallica's catalogue, meanwhile, wheter you like it or not, A7X really tried to push themselves out of the ordinary with this record (at least for A7X's standarts).

Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite band of all time, hands down. To me a lot of bands sounds generic and the same, that's why I gravitate towards artists trying to push the bar and stay with their roots at the same time and artists that write their own shit. I see you have respect for the band, you prefer their older stuff, and that's fine. I enjoy listening to your opinions about it because it gives me a fresh perspective. A toxic fan would just wonder "why do you play the songs if you dont like the band?" the first answer is views but I feel as though another answer would be to just express your true and honest opinions about every song. My only gripe with that is you just say some sequences are just 'noise'. Like they just went into the recording booth and just played random shit hoping it stuck. If you watch any of their breakdowns on their songs (on their channel) you'll know nothing is unintentional or random. They take time to make sure the song is what they want it to be. With that being said 'noise' implies randomness and nothing they do is random.
I love this album personally because I'm a fan if abrupt transitions. People forget that its all subjective and you don't have to like it if it's not for you. I'm just glad you're honest and stand by your opinion. Great playing!
As a fan of the band myself, I enjoy watching you critique A7X because most people won't. I mean that in a way of people either are diehard for the band, or absolutely hate it for no reason. Chainbrain, you on the other hand, have a genuine reasoning behind what you don't like about it and I respect it. I respect the fact that you can point out the obvious flaws within their work or that you can say you don't like the song or album because of so and so. Keep up the good work though, and I can't wait to see more streams and videos of you covering other songs by other artists.

@@Chainbrain harsh/sudden transitions are usually very much present in most prog concept albums like this. Not gonna have the most produced and gradual change of sound, especially since it happens so often (plus its kinda meant to be unexpected most of the time).
Not talking about "dilluted" or prog-influenced bands/songs like dunno, opeth or tesseract. Just full nerdish prog

People throwing any kind of hate at someone for having a less than positive opinion on a7x music is completely idiotic, invalid, and also blatantly goes against what the bands intentions are with the album anyways. They didn't make try to make an album that everyone would adore upon first listening, they said they wanted to challenge themselves and listeners. That's bound to bring in some negative but 100% valid criticisms, and you're not being a hero by shutting opinions down.

i think game over wouldve been better if they stuck to the punk theme of the song and ended in chaos but ig the whole progressive thing is the theme of the LP but imo sticking with it the whole song wouldve at least made it a 8/10 for me

@@ShounenNt what i meant, if they were planning to make the transition a big part of the song it couldve been differently, frankly put it its a bit abrupt. im all for changes but if its too abrupt or doesnt mesh together then it feels jagged. Less is usually more and the transition in the beginning was fine because there was lots of time to build up whereas the end just cuts off prematurely

As much as I Love Avenged Sevenfold and metal Music, the fan base for both can be extremely toxic. If you dare not give anything but praise, they start insulting others. I like the new album, but there are some parts that I know for sure are nit for everyone. And I think your criticisms are well beyond warranted.

This songs probably one of my least favourites on the record. Purley due to the vocals in the verses. It sounds like mumbling nonsense lol really takes me out of the experience.
