Good information. Something with your audio was killing me. A high pitched screech on your shots. Anyway, how well do this budget sticks hold their pop? I find even the HIGH end CCM tend to lose their pop after a few months.
I’ve been having a hard time finding a good balance on my mic to get good quality audio while also getting rid of that sound when I shoot lol, next video should be better! And to be honest with you I am not on the ice enough at a high enough level anymore to really test that kind of longevity unfortunately
Thanks for the reviews. Have you looked at Twig Hockey Sticks or Shift Hockey Sticks? Also some good budget ones your might be interested in reviewing too
I have looked into twig but was waiting to purchase until I started my new job but I haven’t heard of shift, are they a newer company? Also thank you for the kind words I appreciate it
@@StickTalk8 I hear you. Twig is def good quality. I've got one of the new rogue sticks and the pop is great. I haven't played a serious game with it but I've had it 6+ months and durability has been solid. I don't know how long shift has been around, maybe a year or two, but there have some sweet custom options if you have time to wait. Absolutely man, keep it up
also, could you make a shareable google sheet which you keep updated after each of these vids? it should be easy to do, and would be a cool place for you to keep track of all these sticks and have rankings/reviews/links to the youtube vids for each stick
@aydenfinn4197 bummer. They are only available through their site. I looked into the Taggs this morning. The 330 was only 139 for me, which is awesome. However, the shipping was $35 and the $10 code only took off $7.49 for me. So when all was said and done, it was about the same price as the TronX to get to my door. Still not a bad price. I may try one out.
I’ve only tried the stock option they have at hockeystickman and their mystery stick, not their top of the line mode so I can’t really speak to it but compared to the ones I’ve tried the Taggs is a better stick
Yo the twig seems un real! Do you know what the shaft shape is? Or if they have multiple options for shaft shape? My local store got a bunch of pro stock CCM twigs from the Vancouver Giants for about $200 but after watching this thinking about maybe grabbing one of these. Keep it up mate 👍
The shaft shape on the mid kick is very similar to the “T” shaft shape from CCM so very rectangular, I’m not sure if the shape is different on their low kick option but their customer service is incredible so if you have any questions about that kind of stuff they answer very quickly!
Honestly I’m not too sure, I’ve used it a handful of times in men’s league and haven’t had any issues but I’m not like taking draws or anything so I can’t really say how It would hold up in real games
We have yet to have a warranty claim on the 350g, 375g, intermediate, junior, or youth after hundreds of sales. The only sticks that have had a warranty claim is the 330g boron. The stick is being revamped by adding slightly more material to assist with durability and feel. Stay tuned for new product releases in November

Great video, what is the shaft shape.? I'm a big fan of the square proto r like shaft shape.
Thanks man I appreciate it! It is very square so will be very similar to how the proto feels!

I plan to start working on something like that after the release of my next video!
Awesome review! Was the blade feel more lively or dampened?
Definitely more lively!
And thank you!!
Thanks!
No worries
Can you compare it to the TronX 330 gram sticks? Those are $179 and feel really good.
I’ll definitely give it a look! On their website it’s $254 for me, is there anywhere else I could pick one up?

Ah that really sucks, I guess it’s much more favourable for Canadian customers. If you end up deciding to order one let me know!
@@StickTalk8 will do!
This stick compared to the stick from Pro Stock Hockey Sticks, which one do u like better?

@@StickTalk8 ok, thank you, and thanks for replying so fast.
No worries just glad I could help

No worries!
@@StickTalk8 also, are you rocking the p92 or p90T 😁
P90t on this one!
how do you like this compared to the hockeystickman pro custom blackout
The taggs is a better performing stick and is custom for around the same price!
How is the durability?

@@TaggsHockey I just placed an order for both the Custom 330g and the Custom 350g last week. Will I be receiving the revamped version of the 330g?
@@TaggsHockey😮
@@garychau6845 I sent you an email! We are sending you the revamp!
Great content!
Thank you!
That's my new favorite hockey stick lol.
Nice! Have you been using one or just impressed with the performance to price ratio?
Just impressed with the performance to price ratio lol.
It’s pretty insane ngl, I was genuinely surprised
@@StickTalk8 ya same, And its pretty good for a hockey brand like TAGGS.
might just have to pick one up
If you’re ok with the wait time it’s definitely worth a try!
@@StickTalk8 they have some that aren’t custom.
They do yes but it will be more difficult to find exactly your specs and it’s the same price
