I have just purchase the same jacket , and im only using one t-shirt under the jacket and i cant fell any better than my normal jacket that it cost 20 pounds . I hope its a faut on my jacket i will sent it back for a replacement and hope the new one it will be better like all the advertised videos on UA-cam. Thank you for the honest review
stick you hand under it and you'll feel the heat, your core isn't as sensitive to heat as other parts. at the same time you body is a bit picky about temperature if its too hot or cold you will feel it, if temperature is just right you wont feel it.
I use the jacket and the hoodie together. When it gets really cold like negative Temps the hoodie won't get warm at all but you layer both and it gets hot. That is with me wearing t-shirt, long sleeve shirt and a thermal shirt. I've tried the dewalt ones including their 200$ jacket and the Milwaukee is so much better quality the price isn't that crazy if you look at heated gear market. If you want either to work well though you need to layer up enough that it is a snug fit otherwise just like radiant heat in your home in travels up and out. However if we're talking just mild weather my jacket gets hot so do the pockets I'm also using the heated gear power source though not the batteries i learned my lesson with that it drains them dead and wears them out fast. Just look at it for what it is - low voltage battery powered radiant heat. Milwaukee can only make it get hot so fast and maintain any longevity for the batteries and it isn't gonna be super efficient cause no radiant heat is. Give it every advantage to build and hold heat before you go into the cold i think you'll get better results.
Thanks, sounds like a good honest review. ✌😎 Still waiting to see which one of your Yota's your gonna trade me for my TJ, the green 40 or the "foriegn" one. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

Don't want to point out the Obvious. If you have a heat source (m12 jacket) & you put insulation (hoodie & shirt) in between that heat source (m12) How the F do you think the heat from the m12 is going to get to your body with a thick ass hoodie a/w a shirt in between.??? I bought that jacket couple years ago, I bought one as snug as possible (with light t shirt on) so the heat source has a direct line to your body. If I need to be even warmer - the smart money is to put a jacket OVER the M12 heated jacket. I am perfectly happy with it & you might have been if you would use it properly!
Negative... Tried being bare naked underneath.. Look, you are from Winterpig, so understandable that any remote heat is better than 40° below. But my experience is the jacket was a waste of money. I'd be better off with a bunch of Hot Pockets stuffed in a Hoodie. Also the Pockets on the Milwaukee Jacket are supposed to heat up.. Uhhh.. I put bare hands in there... and didn't warm up at all. So that right there blows a hole in your theory.
@@CruisingTheLandjust a T under not bare. As your bought a jacket that is to big for its intended purpose it will not fit tight enough to transfer heat even with just a T. Long story short - What Cha'll bought is to Big for it to function correctly.
A heated blanket works whether it's big or small, so that theory doesn't make sense either. And I didn't want to look like I was wearing hand me downs from a older skinny sibling.. lol
@@CruisingTheLand Hey aren''t you the channel who was sporting those Hood Bra's a stretch back. If memory serves you simply loved them - I thought they were sucked @$$. How are they working out for you? Ya still sportin' them?
last i remember those got there power from the bike so they could draw more power then a battery can provide with out using it up in a matter of minutes. and heated motorcycle jackets are much thinker both to keep you warm in the air flow and prevent road rash. Edit : did the math a heated motorcycle jacket(Venture Heat’s Bluetooth Motorcycle Heated Jacket) is 12v 7A 84w, Milwaukee M12 Heated Jacket is 12v 1.4A 17w. to run the Milwaukee with the same heat as the Venture would eat a 3Ah battery in around 20 mins.
The problem here is you have a hoodie on between your shirt and the jacket. Wear the jacket against a t shirt without a hoodie on then do another review. It’s designed to be close to your skin. You layer on top of this jacket not under it. Review would be alot better if you wore it properly before making this review.
I am a lineman in the Midwest. I have the heated hoodie and with a jacket over it it's a game changer when working outside in sub freezing. Roughly 2h on high with 2AH battery.

They great if you wear a rubber rain coat over the milwauke jacket it traps the heat
Having used heated motorcycle jackets before i can tell you this is not even a third as warm I do not recommend..

I would need a Massuve ahoodie to wear over this. Let me get a 3XL and redo the video. I will call it Toasty Blimp man.
All that money to carry around a big ass battery and still have to layer other clothes lol waste of money
