Yes!!! Of course, character is the ultimate test. I always talk about mission-orientation.
This world is insane. Just like in Seal training, the regular world will push us to our limits. When we come to that limit, how will we act?
Will we have character and act as we believe in our innermost, or will we lash out and destroy?
Living life to it's fullest is much like the crucible of Special Forces training.
When put to the test, will we be who we wish to be, or will we devolve into basic instincts?

I've always thought of the expression "proving grounds" to mean how well you impress others by your performance.. but after watching this video, it seems that this process is as much or more to prove to *yourself* what you are willing and capable of doing.

    • @treborironwolfe978

One other comment... it seems to me that the early-grade teachers tend to be the most passionate and compassionate in their work "teaching". But we cannot solely rely on our teachers to provide the whole environment for our character development.. it is up to the parents and guardians to equally strive to give the same level of attention, care, and nourishment whenever they are with their children.. even if life limits the amount of time spent.. it's more the quality and not the quantity.
