Each year I take back quite a few bottles in my carry on and I'm always waiting for someone to side eye me LOL whenever you go, I look forward to meeting the person that always makes me laugh with the screen name!
Oh gosh.....I never thought about that (how much you can put in a checked bag). Good thought! I'll add one thing: Put each polish in a sealed ziplock bag (and put bubble wrap around each one). If any of them break due to being in a super hot luggage space or from pressure changes, you will have saved everything in your bag. I once put 5 polishes in a ziplock bag. Was bringing them to the nail salon with me (I sometimes like to bring a selection if I can't choose). When I got home, I forgot to bring the bag in the house with me. It was summer. The next day, I got in the car and immediately smelled the polish. I was SO THANKFUL I had them in a sealed ziplock bag! I only lost one polish, but if that had exploded in the car (it was the summer heat that did it), I never would have been able to get it all cleaned up,
So glad to hear your safe. I lost almost all my stuff in hurricane sandy in 2012. Had to evacuate during storm cause we werent on evacuate area list and it completly flooded our area anyway..., i was petrified. So happy your safe. Thanks for all your hard work in every video. 🎉
I'm so sorry to hear that. I remember Sandy. Big big hugs. These storms can be so unpredictable. Heck, even with Beryl I wasn't expecting the wind damage to destroy so much. My town didn't have power for days. I flew out last Friday, and my town was still at 50% capacity and our grocery stores didn't have cold food at all. I'm glad ya'll are safe too

i’m so sad that i couldn’t find a fairy for pbe!!! the bcb is beautiful!!! omg, i need to get some of the beaux reves!!! lilypad, lotus, and hopefully some of the shimmer overpours. i’m hoping to be able to get the jen & berries. i’m bummed that the kb shimmer polish is sold out already. psyche minerals and monarch’s polishes are gorgeous!!! i reallllly wanted a fairy to pick up rogue’s pretty ugly and a couple other polishes from the collection and a sassy sauce polish. hopefully next year i’ll be able to find a fairy!!! 🧚🏼🧚🏼🧚🏼
You know what I wish they made? Swatch "paddles" that have an ivory "nail", a black "nail" and a clear "nail". In fact, TWO ivory "nails". That way you could swatch on an ivory nail, then again with a matte TC, then on the black nail, then again on the clear nail. Maybe that's silly. But I feel like it would be helpful to have that. Someone go make that. LOL
Honestly, I've heavily considered expanding the Will It Topper segment to be a more in depth portion of the video, but I want the main focus to be the swatches of the polishes themselves. To be fair, I think the ivory sticks will show what it looks like with a blurring base (I don't use these for my personal collection for this reason) but it's a super valid consideration when wanting to show all facets of a polish. That said, I appreciate the feeedback!! I'm putting forth a ton of effort moving forward after this month's swatching gauntlet on ways I can improve my content (and finally master all this tech I bought this month too), so I'll keep an eye out for my next nail supply replenishment order that we can try new things and make it better

I have a large collection (large for me....3000+ polishes), and when I started swatching a long time ago (not realizing my collection would become so big), I swatched everything twice. Once with a shiny TC, and once with a matte TC. And for some polishes, I swatched them as toppers on black and on clear. So, now I'm drowning in swatch sticks! I've seriously considered stopping the matte swatches because I never wear anything with matte TC. If anything, I'll wear textured or reflective polishes with no TC. But in swatching, I've often thought it would be nice to have one of those "crown paddles" (do you know what I'm talking about?), but with all those options on the paddle itself. I'm sorry if you thought I was critiquing you. I love the Will It Topper portions of your videos!

I thought it was odd that they were pink, but it also got me thinking lol I hope I didn't come off as defensive, just thinking out loud! I tend to get super contemplative in the mornings when the kids are still sleeping and I'm in turbo content mode 😅
