Very nice stitch. Perfect for a beautiful, warm hat. Thank you for all the calculations. I can only imagine all the trial and error you went through to perfect this. Much appreciated. Your hats are the best.
I crocheted years ago, but never anything complicated. I started up a few months ago and have done all of your hats. I was hoping that you would come up with another, and Voila’ you did! I have tried hats with other instructors, but you, by far are the most explicit with teaching to all the modalities. I will always look for your projects! Thank you!
I like that you're always so thorough with your tutorials. I was asking myself "why turn the work" and was planning to ask but then you answered my question while showing the pattern close up. Thank you very much for another great tutorial 🥰
Great instructions. Just finished my hat using Caron cakes pumpkin spice. I love it. It has an elastic feeling. Used the suggested increases (about 5 inches 1/4 for the crown) and hooks # 5 and 4.5. It still ended up a little loose. Wish I could post a pic!
This is my favourite stitch that I’ve learned from you. I’ve made a scarf and mittens. I wished you’ll teach us to make a hat on this lovely stitch. Thank you Craig xx
Ohhh what a lovely yarn and perfect for this puffy stitch hat! I’m definitely making this today! Through you, I’m learning about how to do rounds AND how you increase each round!
Adore this hat...made six of them so far ..this is the only pattern that I am able to do without needing to refer back to the pattern. And, I can make it however I like. Thank you kind sir ❤
I finally got a little digital scale so I can weigh a finished piece to see if the remaining yarn is enough to make another of the same project 🎉🎉 Happy New Year, Yarn Spider! ❤
I love the hat and the color of the 1st one, but i like the color your doing this tutorial also. I will be making one tmrw. As im watching kinda late its midnight. Thank you Craig , Happy Holidays🎄
What a coincidence! I bought some of the Ferris Wheel yarn in the Morning Java color not knowing what kind of a hat I was going to do. And, guess what, you used that exact same yarn for the hat you are wearing. LOL
Hi Fiber Spider, can you tell me the diameter of the crown when you move on to the body of the hat ? I used a different yarn and hook and need to make adjustments. Thanks 🙏

You could weight the leftovers. It may make another child hat if not an adult. Or maybe a cozy cowl.

Oh, this yarn is so beautiful but frogging it is nearly impossible. So frustrating.
Please start telling us where you are getting your glorious crochet hooks
I received them from an etsy store called Letto Workshop. They are Ukraine based. Unfortunately, they have been closed for some time now.
Mine ended up really big…. Any idea why?
Pls don't use a dark yarn as it is difficult to see
