your birds of paradise will definitely need some sort of sunlight. I killed my first one because I thought it was okay to place it in the corner lol but I hope this helps!
Those huge palms are so cheap because they will never be able to grow in NY weather. They’ll die within a few weeks. They require high humidity to survive
