Music is the language of the soul. To only listen to music that is ‘written’ by AI would be a sad thing as AI has no capacity to be inspired… it’s not awakened from its sleep with an idea that is begging to be developed (something that John Lennon talked about). While AI can ‘follow the rules’ of music, the quality of inspiration is something that I believe cannot be programmed. Does AI have a place in the ‘creative process’? Perhaps it does, but it should be subordinate to the true creative process, otherwise it will begin to reflect, more and more, an increasingly soulless society. That would be a sad day for sure.

Well, the thing is that AI does not "follow the fules of music"... it will simply be "inspired" by all the music it has listened to ; this is why it sounds way better than all the algorythmic tools that were used before and simply tried to follow "rules".
Now, totally agree on the fear of soulless society, where everything will sound quantized, sterile, and standardized...
This is our chance to stand out as humans creators, with fresh, disruptive ideas!

Suno and Udio both make much better AI music compared to SoundRaw
try Udio, that is far more better, just came out few days ago, you can even add your custom lyrics and even in greek, or spanish, or Latvian - from where I am.I messed around for 2 days now, and I cant remeber moment in my life when I was so exited... It is really good, but ofcourse it is almost perfect, but not perfect. Far more better then this.

@@StockMusicLicensing i disagree, some ai jazz music ive heard is absolutely mind blowing. the quality is not 100% but ideas wise.... Some of it is amazing im not gonna pretend.
These kinds of services are far from representative of where AI music is. It you go to udio, you'll see the vast, vast, VAST difference.
Hi Daniel, great video! For me - i don´t feel scared of AI taking my job as a composer and producer ... there is no way how to AI replicate live musician ... as we are here in the RF world, OK, some generic tracks will be replaced by AI and for free for sure BUT, - people who want music for free, they will never pay even 5 buck per month on any market. Not now, not ever :) An the AI music wont be free at all :) Im not scared BUT - i split my work also autside the RF music world ... i do more custom film music, also writing and producing more for singers, bands, arrange tracks ... and also invest to estates and stocks ... you never know :D
AI generated music sounds like AM radio. The whole approach they take for AI generated music, is wrong, I think. What I want isn't the AI doing it all. But having short scores I have done in the traditional way then given to the AI to use those for generation. Bit like Image to Image or upscalling.

Yes, you can monetize it. But who is going to pay for it? Better to use the music as part of a service, such as advertising - if AI doesn’t take that too (probably will). You will need another skill or service that will make the real money. The music itself isn’t going to make money. Not anymore.

Yeah, I agree. Anyone who has heard Udio, which has broadcast quality audio and can create amazingly creative music and vocals in any genre, and thinks it’s not over is in denial. And I say that as a long tome musican and composer myself.
