6:22 same goes for spike helis, make sure to send 2 just to be sure. they usually don't see the second or third missile due to radar clouding of everything else going on.
It's a bit 50/50 for me against Pantsirs. Their radar will just highlight all your munitions with the TWS they have, when it works properly. I once fired 4 Mavericks on one pantsir and it intercepted them all but died to one maverick from another player. So it really shows as long as the pantsir is focused on you, there's not necessarily much you can do. Doesn't help that Mavericks have a 10 year long travel time, giving them ample time to react as well. 1v1'ing Pantsirs is a very time consuming process usually, so having friendly "distractions" is usually more important imo. Guided bombs were a more reliable method, but they might have nerfed the durability of bombs to be on par with missiles now judging from the last major's changelog.
Was beyond hyped to see them add this Vark. Been grinding modules on mine and hooooboy is air RB a struggle bus with this beauty. I'm hoping maxing the engine upgrades will help me live longer. Seems to really scoot already with just compressor.
Air RB is not terrible, unlike the A model you can actually get to bases ahead of most others, and you can defend yourself with either your speed, or if you know what you are doing against certain opponents you can turn fight them.
Just go around, far left or far right, and bomb later in the match, after that get a kill or two with the AIM-9Ls and the gun, its easy 20k RP every game without talisman. So many people just rush and underestimate the amount of RP you get with little score but long game time...
at 2:00 the guy got really lucky because there was a burning flarakrad next to him, so the 65D locked onto it and started turning just before it reached the tunguska. not russian bias, just getting unfortunate

TV guided bomb have more energy inertiel than the CCIP show, so you can drop them 1 to 2 km before easily and keep the few seconds needed for stay safe. And i speak with a corsair 2 i mostly play them so with a supa fast F111!!! - I need grind it.

There is no real reason to take A-10C over Harrier PLUS, both at 12.0, only the Harrier is smaller, faster and has Fox 3s, with pretty much same air to ground capabilities. Both carry four Mavericks (With no cheesing). I didn't like F-111 much, evading VT-1 missiles with this plane is almost impossible because of its big size and the massive energy bleed when it turns, you need to fly it like Tornado, wide turns and long distance approaches with so much fuel to burn, only Tornado has better RWR which is a major factor nowadays to take into consideration, a NATO 11.7 aircraft with no IFF RWR is not a good choice in my opinion. I mean if I could trade MAW for a better RWR I would do it, sadly I can't. (I'm talking about Ground RB only)

I always have issues with vehicles not rendering when trying to do long range attacks with maverics. They can even be scouted and i will be looking right at the scout icon but there will be nothing there.
It's war thunder stupid rendering/spotting system. You are using electro-OPTICAL systems in a game where things magically appear and disappear depending on both the skills of your crew and the own game engine's limitations (I suppose?). Both could be fixed by making it so that if you have a electro-OPTICAL system (targeting pod) then everything should render up to a considerable distance. Because in real life targeting pods aren't wired to the pilot's eyes lmao.

If you launch a mav at a tank at fair distance, and then get away as far as possible, the missile will still follow the now invisible tank, even if you follow it in bomb camera (I think the default button is U). The missile obviously still sees the tank at such distances, but this makes it difficult to assess whether my missile have missed the target, or is actually still going for it.

If my ping is over 200 (most of the time I play) I regularly have enemy tanks that don't render in when I am on my first spawn in ground rb. Most of my crews have maxed skills and expert training and it hasn't seemed to help. I don't know why they can't just have all vehicles visible all the time what do they gain from making them render in and out of existence other then shit game play?
I didn't try it in Air sim EC, but 24x 750lb and a TGP feels nice to CCRP bomb enemy airfield from high altitude haha, I tried Harrier NA, 10x JDAMs for 10x Airfield SPAA from 10,000m altitude, it was great.

Hello, it is not recomended to start with 11.7 NATO aircraft with blind no IFF RWR. Pantsir S1 will be completely hidden, I usually dive and turn as fast as possible after a strike and hope for the best.
plane looks epic and seeing the range you do your thing its insane. Ill never fly a thing in wt and always on the receiving end of bombs and whatever they use. latest influx and exposure of the cheaters in wt made me stop playing

I don't think picking a NATO plane at 11.7 with blind No IFF RWR is a wise decision nowadays, the problem is there is no other choice at 11.7, unless you have the premium Harrier NA. A-10C is wrong at 12.0, I don't know what they are thinking really, it is only an A-10 with Mavericks.
In your experience, does it help to launch mavs at above mach speeds? How long does it take them to slow down to 0.9M? It could be a pretty good advantage launching them at 1600 IAS that vark is capable of.
It helps definitely, especially at higher altitudes and shorter ranges. It can hold supersonic speed for a decent while when at higher altitudes, but it's not super great either. From long ranges most of the flight time will be subsonic. If the missile goes to medium-low altitdudes, say 3km or less the missile loses a lot of speed, so launching while supersonic will have much less benefit. In the terminal phase of the maverick, so when it's diving down to the target, it often actually even loses speed during the dive, going down to even 600-700 kph. It's an incredibly slow missile. For 15km+ ranges I just recommend you use the GBU-15 instead, even if you can't toss it from supersonic speeds (even though it's possible irl...) as it is both faster to the target and keeps going mach 1 pretty much its entire flight.
@@xfgusta Hopefully the F-111C will get the GBU-15s as well as well as the shoulder pylons for the extra 9Ls. Otherwise it has no reason being the same BR as the F-111F right now.

unlock some bombs hop into sim with boosters and do nonstop bomb runs, you gonna research half the things instantly

Hey man thanks, use Walleye, it is over Mach 1 bomb last time I checked, it is the best. The other bombs are bigger and under Mach 1.

For Great Britain, the Tornado is probably better. It has TV guided bombs and they have longer range than the ones on the F-111C.
