  • Revisiting and camping at beautiful Lake Eleanor in Yosemite. I hauled an inflatable kayak a quarter mile to explore the lake and to find a campsite. I'll enjoy some delicious food and a peaceful lake all to myself!
Hope you enjoy, thanks for watching!

Great to see you back out there enjoying the places we did when you were just a kid! It was much more forested before the fire! You didn't mention the time when a bear came by our campsite in the middle of the night and bit into and ruined our inflatable kayak! We had to hike out all of our gear (including a deflated kayak!) a couple of miles along the rugged/steep/overgrown north shore of the lake! Good job on the video!

That was a nearly 1200 calorie "test" for freeze dried meals. That's my kind of test

Can u make another video like this? I enjoyed the entire clip. Thinking to go to my local lakes and kayak over there sometime now that it's warm outside.

I'm very much enjoying this kayak and have plans to include it in more videos. It's getting warmer here aswell, so I should be able to get up to the higher elevation lakes soon. I'm glad you enjoyed, thank you for watching!

I’ve learned a lot in my short time of creating videos. A year from now I’m excited to look back and see how much progress has been made. The goal is making these videos better and better.

Man that’s a nice lake. Gonna have to take the kids. It’s getting too hot in Texas during the summer to camp

I enjoyed living in Texas for the short time that I did, but I never did see a crystal clear lake there. Plenty of other fun things to do though

@@XLOutdoorsman did you ever go to east Texas or the Arkansas/texas boarders? Austin is ok too. We have more clear rivers not lakes. I usually camp on the side of rivers

@@LonelyRev I've been to Austin, which has nice rolling hills. I didn't make it over to the eastern border though. I've heard it' really nice though

Are all of your hikes pretty quiet or are there usually other strangers and you avoid them being filmed?! All your videos look so peaceful!

I’ve been lucky so far this year and have had most places all to myself. When I camped in a designated campground at Kerckhoff Lake with the family is the only time I saw other campers around. I’ll pass by day hikers from time to time
