The instrument and the organist became one in a magnificent performance. The music selection, registration, and angelic skills on the manuals and pedals made the music very soulful, masterful and relevant. Kudos Richard Elliott
As Richards arrangement of Come Come Ye Saints builds in waves of crescendo, I felt ever building emotions. Oh that the saints who crossed the plains could witness this masterful work. Bravo Richard and thanks to Luke for adding color and background.
Magnificent playing--as one can expect from Dr. Elliott--and a superbly crafted program to commemorate the 9/11 tragedy. It's hard to comment on any of the pieces, as they all seem integral parts of a whole. The Copland "Fanfare" showed off the two solo reed stops added some years back, and the Barber "Adagio" made elegant use of the incomparable Aeolian-Skinner strings. It was moving to hear John Weaver's "Sine Nomine": Dr. Weaver--who passed away earlier this year-- was one of this country's leading organ recitalists for nearly a half century. He was also a celebrated teacher, serving as head of the organ departments at both the Juilliard School in NYC and the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia, where I believe Richard Elliott was one of his stellar students! As always, thanks to Prof. Howard for his illuminating commentary.

Another fabulous program! Delighted by the Weaver arrangement of Sine Nomine. Bravo, Richard Eliot!

STIRRING, EVOCATIVE, and JUST SHEER BRILLIANCE . Thank you FABULOUS, Richard. Thank you ever, Luke. WONDERFUL backdrop .
This organ has amazing sound. The deep pedal notes are the best I’ve ever heard. Thanks Richard for your amazing skill at the key board.

Beautiful and moving. Masterful. I enjoyed the stories behind the music. A superb production all around.

Well...I can't explain why some of the above is crossed out, but I guess it's readable! Aren't computers wonderful?
I love that this program is remembering 9/11 which happens twenty years ago.
