In there, the people cannot leave the island freely because they have been under the reigns of a marxist-communist regime for 60+ years. I myself come from Venezuela, a country that has been also under a socialist-marxist-communist regime for the last 20 years. Pre-covid Venezuelans were free to leave, and many did (walking and with no belongings) so in our case, we have some freedoms that cubans dont but still, many of our freedoms have been suppressed by these ideological tyrants.... I dont want to assume, but I gather you were born and raised in the United States? Just curious to know what your definition of freedom is.
