Thanks for the excellent narrative and video. I enjoyed listening to your commentary. I had the pleasure of hiking Leaping Tiger Gorge and also Yubeng Valley. I would recommend both. My Tibetan guide was the best.
@@JHMedium You won't be disappointed. It's a Tibetan village with a sacred waterfall and lake. And it is roughly 50 miles from the eastern border of Tibet.
Was there last year, it was beautiful and I loved it. The only bad part of my trip was with the tour company experience in Shangri La, it was a scam and even though it didnt per se ruined my trip, it did affect my view on Shangri La experience. For those who want to go, if you can go by yourself I would highly recommend so, we did pay for the tour only there because we had some extra days and hadn't plan anything so we figured we would have time to go there and pay at night and left the very next day so it was a flash trip, we did end up leaving the tour company before it ended because we were just very disappointed and felt scammed so we ended going back to LiJiang by our own means.
Yea the tour groups can sometimes be horrible. I’ve definitely had bad experiences before so now we try to avoid groups unless transportation is really too difficult on our own.
Thanks so much for your video which was made professionally and included the details. It has urged me to travel to Lijiang, Yunnan soon. Every corner of this video is so wonderful and breathtaking. 😍
Your channel should get more views. Just look at the cinematography, background music, and editing. Plus, if this done with just one person (you alone), I give applause 👏
Glad I came across you channel. You have great cinematography and editing. The 360 camera is unique and the drone shots are amazing. I subscribed, I'm sure more people will discover this channel eventually. I see great potential.
To be honest, we didn't spend too much time in Lijiang, mainly just a stopover. All the places we went to are in the video, and we mostly just randomly walked around the three ancient towns. Baisha are Shuhe are both very worth visiting.
I wish to have a free and easy trip so can explore more without rushing. So as foreigner is it hard to purchase the train ticket? Any payment apps we must be ready or using cash still fine? I heard many hotels cannot accept foreigners to stay...
Hi, thank you very much for the helpful video, I just wanted to ask whether Pudacuo National Park is easy to navigate? Did you make use of the tourist buses within the park, and how much time would you recommend spending at the national park?
@@JHMedium Thank you very much for your reply, did you use taxis or buses to get around Shangri-la, Lijiang? What is the situation like regarding public transport? I would also like to ask if you went to the Black Dragon Pool in Lijiang or the Dragon snow mountain?
The easiest way is to take the high speed train. There are many trains from Kunming South to Lijiang everyday. Just take a taxi or subway to the train station from the airport.
Love your vlog! I think you shouldn't judge the things on that american thinking, lake cultural apropiation and stuff. Just enjoy! Greetins from Chile!
Dude, awesome video, good editing skills and really well made. Thank you, I will be visiting it soon I hope
Faschinating China. Any province in China is so remarkable.
Can’t wait to visit yuannan ancient towns
Very nice video!
Wow you have such a pleasant and calming film style. I am really enjoying your videos Jeffrey 😀
Spent my 40th birthday getaway in Lijiang and Shangrila. Really great destination! Many thanks for your video!

I would love to hike Yubeng someday as well!

Tour companies love to take us to shops where they will get kickbacks
Yunnan is more beautiful than I imagined! Thanks for capturing the province on video. Can't wait to see more of china!
Dali is exceptional... One of the most beautiful places on earth even❤... Lijiang and Shangri-la is also heaven❤
We've been to Yunnan , Dali, and Lijiang took some photos back in 1998 but we skipped Shangrila.

You insta360 x3 shots are beautifully color graded! I also own one but it my shots don't look like yours! Amazing skills!
Your channel should get more views.

Thank you!! I visited Qingdao a few year ago before I started vlogging. Loved it and definitely wanna visit again.
Wowwwww well done videography!!
Will it be alrite to seek your advise on itinerery of LiJiang?

Nice video! ☺️
Love the video. Thank you. Just a quick question, are there any rules around foreigners flying a drone there?
4:32 . for a sec there i thought the waiter was spoon feeding you haha .
Meet Yourself vibes!!!
what month is it? :) appreciate your sharing!!!
We went in October last year.
This is soo good. May i ask how you traveled around. Is it easy for a foreigner to rent a car.
We took taxi mainly since it is quite affordable, and sometimes bus to further places. So I’m not sure about renting a car.
I wish to have a free and easy trip so can explore more without rushing. So as foreigner is it hard to purchase the train ticket? Any payment apps we must be ready or using cash still fine? I heard many hotels cannot accept foreigners to stay...
Well done video... thanks!
Very. Good trip
Hi, thank you very much for the helpful video, I just wanted to ask whether Pudacuo National Park is easy to navigate? Did you make use of the tourist buses within the park, and how much time would you recommend spending at the national park?
Yes, I used the bus. You pretty much have to because it’s massive. With the bus it’s pretty easy to navigate. I spent around 5 or 6 hours there.
@@JHMedium Thank you very much for your reply, did you use taxis or buses to get around Shangri-la, Lijiang? What is the situation like regarding public transport? I would also like to ask if you went to the Black Dragon Pool in Lijiang or the Dragon snow mountain?
Superb video quality man! May I ask which month was it when you went? Would going in late November be a good idea?
Excellent 👍
Спасибо за видео, очень интересно👍
jhmedium, where are you from?
Such beauty 😍😍😍😍
Definitely one of the most scenic places in China!
Wonderful narrator

2:50 BBQ is 💯
It looked ordinary but it was so gooood!! 😋
Beautiful country
How to get Lijiang from Kunming Airport by train ? Thank you 😊
The easiest way is to take the high speed train. There are many trains from Kunming South to Lijiang everyday. Just take a taxi or subway to the train station from the airport.
Do you have local driver recommendation? Thanks
Sorry, I don’t. We mainly just took taxi around and sometimes bus.
How do you film in the streets and the selfie stick doesn't appear?
The Insta360 camera stitches the selfie stick out, so it appears to be invisible.
@@JHMedium Thank you, what an amazing camera!
I want drive motorcycle. Go to shangrila..
Form thailand
That sounds really fun!
Can recommend a reputable travel agency as I know there are many scam travel agencies that bring you to buy stuffs and don't really visit yunnan
May i know when you took this video?
October last year
New video🎉🎉
🎬🍿
👍🎉❤
Lol, Shuhe is a much better place to stay compared with Lijiang👍
I completely agree haha.
Yes Tibetan buttermilk is not for everyone.
You must be a professional media trained person
TAKE ME WITH YOU BRO
