Times have changed and so have the customers. Since vehicles are now equipped with integrated radios it seems aftermarket manufacturers have taken a hit. It’s very difficult to find clean head units these days. I’ve always owned and continue to own alpine but damn, they are crap nowadays. This head unit being a gem 💎 from the latest. Your lucky bud. The last unit I thought that was clean to full tilt was the long gone but never forgotten CDA 9887. Lol
I have the 147bt since 2015 still works. But their are many 120 to 150$ HU's out now that spank these with more tuning options and better SQ but for the time they were in they did good

They're not that old, so what are the new decks that are better? from what I can tell Alpine gave up on Single DIN. I mean, I would like a DEH-80PRS but they're going for 500-600. Yeah I asked what's better, and you didn't say sh*t. So talk. I wanna know.

Is the Distortion in your speakers? You might need to decrease the level sensitivity on the amplifier.
