Amazing tutorial. I wish I had seen this last month though. I'll definitely use this technique in the future. This is when the client realized he needed a hair cut after he saw the photos. Just happened to me a month ago. I told them, I'll retouch his hair to look like he got it cut.

hey.. umesh i love all your tutorials, bt i just wanted to tell u that, usually in your tutorials subject has always plan backgrounds you know what i mean right..!! can u use subject which has distorted backgrounds which will very help full for photographer or outdoor photographers..!! for ex. in todays video what if the subject has tree, buildings or any kinds of distortion in background.
He'd just have more dedication with the mask tool. His videos are meant to introduce the tools and resources, so it's great that he saves us time just showing the method. The complications demand more time to spend, it's something we must take into consideration in when working with Photoshop, but would turn the tutorial boring.
in the older versions of photoshop, i used to make sharp hair using smudge tool. but in newer versions, smudge tool works different. what's the problem here? how can we make sharp thorn-like hair in newer versions of photoshop?
