I am looking at a ford 550 backhoe to buy and the boom only swings 10° left and right and then hits a wall. What is the problem? must be something to do with those two cylinders.
Great video, I have the same issue. I have the long link chain where the pins are 1 3/4 of an inch apart. When I do a Google search of the part number you gave it comes up with the short link chain

I would contact your local new holland dealer and have them order it. It was very expensive I think if I remember almost $500
@Salvagedirongarage ,I have to find a dealer. Great video though, gave me some ideas of what I'm going to have to do to change it.

My Ford 4500 chain came apart (looks like the center) Is the center pin you show down below, what connects the 2 ?
Yes the center pin connects the 2 chains together
@@Salvagedirongarage Thanks, now all I have to do is figure out how... looks easy by the way you show it. Mine does NOT have a hose connecting the 2
