This is a 6 parts series on How to Install a Multi-Piece Headliner for 1963 and earlier VW Beetles. These videos are also on my site tinyurl.com/pmj... in one spot for viewing convenience.
Thanks, Chris Vallone. It is a very useful series of videos. Congratulations from Brazil !
Superb series of videos here. I understand and appreciate all the work it took to make these. Peace and love from a fellow Beetle lover.
thank you John, much appreciated.
@@classicvwbugs What brand of spray glue did you use?

@@classicvwbugs Thank you!
@@classicvwbugs you where pretty young in these videos, must have been some of your first videos.
It would be neat if there was film footage from the original assembly line installation. Good work, as always. Caring for these old bugs is a pleasure.
Thank you for all these amazing install videos. Not sure how I would have finished my car with you. I owe you a beer!
Merci mille fois pour toutes ces vidéos détaillées, c'est un accompagnement de grande qualité pour la restauration de mon ovale 1954. De vrais professionnels qui sont dans le partage d'informations, c'est magnifique. Encore merci.

Dude, your videos are beyond helpful. Great job!
can I have the link for this material looks really good thank you
Thanks again. For the great videos
If you are short the grippers as you call them try alligator strip from furniture upholstery , there is hole in it that would allow a small pop rivet to hold it in place . It's pretty well the same thing give it a look and see for yourself
Hard work in close quarters, you make it look easy but I know it's not, excellent job, great video too.
Looks soo easy. Mine came loose after about a month. I didn't wrap through window seal. Now it slaps the back of head. but thats ok it keeps me awake.
Really a wonderful job and very didactic, I'm restoring my 1970 Beetle and this help a lot, thank you.
Chris, if you had a video for sale on the headliner series...I would buy it! Great job explaining everything!!!
Haha, very cool man. Thank you.

Why did you cancelled your subscription?
Chris, always a huge help having these videos to learn from. I have a 57 oval and am about to install a full-tweed TMI headliner. I don't have "grippers" anywhere, not on the b-pillar, not on the seam at the back window. Was this normal on the older bodies? Does the whole thing need to be done with nails or screws? This is a "canadian standard" body Thanks.
hmmm well hate to tell ya, but standards did not have the grippers nor did they have a full headliner. The only headliner it should have is the top square section. Check my site in past sales for a 53 standard we sold to hawaii.
@@classicvwbugs Thanks for the quick reply! fortunately 2-toned the interior paint as well. should tide me over until i figure out how to attached the rest of the tweed.
I never imagined how complicated a little VW can be.
Any way to do this with the windows in? Have a project i bought with a bare interior but all glass ans cal look seals already in and am a little hesitant to remove all that.
+Matthew Taylor-Thorn not really, you need the windows out,.
the url does not get me to a link to purchase. Is this video still available for download?
+Kevin Stuhrenberg If you go to my website, the DVD is there for ragtop, sedan is a free download.
I suppose you can get a leather set.
Muito bom o seu tutorial!!!!
Nice :-)
