I did go to a drift competition with a trx4 with drift tires and they allowed it!
@xPaxy are you dumb as hell or not watch the full video his videos are not just about one singular thing it's to entertain people yes it was focus around the drifting but he did drift with the xmaxx not alot but he did so there could've been more footage but it was corrupted or something was wrong with audio or he just wanted it to be a short video who knows

AWESOME video once again. I did this exact same thing to all of my Carisma GT24's with a bunch of friends, it is so fun! I always buy different colors of duct tape (or electrical tape for smaller tires) to change things up a little. Thanks for sharing, keep up the good work.

That worked surprisingly well! For the X Maxx, I've also seen people use PVC pipe cut to size and put over the tires

Ay bro get the rustler 4-4 vxl or if your new to full speed cars get a traxxas slash its good for beginners then work up to the vxl cars and like I said the rustler 4-4 vxl is amazing for every surface and my personal favorite rc

Kev you gave me a great idear so I really wanted a drift car but I was hesitant so I might go to the shops and get a 20 rc with duct tape tyres and if I need I can put a bigger motor in it
I've been driving my 1/16 cars with taped wheels indoor for years. Great fun for rainy days. Bigger cars and more powerful, pvc pipe is the best.

Very nice. You are one of the only UA-camrs I know that is able to hold a continous drift with any car. I mean it's not too hard, but I don't know why so few people are able to do it.

Hey Kevin,
I reverse my servo’s from front and rear lockers. So when i switch the switch first the rear will lock en than the front. Like in the real world.
It’s more realistic and it will drift very good! And when you play with tsm in combination with only the rear in lock on high gear it is a nice drift machine.
Gif it a try!
Switch cable 4 and 5, then turn the functions of the servo’s.
It didn’t come up for a second I was worried

Awesome idea. I saw a few comments about using PVC pipe which works great too but I think I'm going to take it to another level. I'm going to try to 3D print some. Basically like using PVC but I'll print them with a lip to help hold them on the tires.
