So hard to find the words. I saw the 1980 series when I was a child. I knew the core story. The foreigner pilot and the beautiful Japanese lady fall in love but their love has no chance to last. I knew this painful line when started to follow this 2024 masterpiece. And after all, Anna's play exceededmy wildest dreams. Her Mariko has stolen the show.
I have the earlier miniseries and book and haven't seen the present series except for video shorts as here; waiting for the future planned DVD's release.
But I believe I'm personally going to fall in love with this Mariko-san.
Man Toranaga really was was a puppeteer, amidst all the scheming and plotting to seize power he even managed to concoct such cruel scenarios and gut wrenching moments amongst his puppets.
Oh, if you put Fuji word. "To hold Mariko's hands" at Anjin. But oh well, the hands touch is enough to make me cry. Beautiful edit. Thank you
