Fun fact: The Leafcutter majors actually evolved as a response to army ant incursions in the real world. Their main purpose is to hold the line against army ants while the workers (that aren't helping the majors) plug the nest and move the brood to a safer location.

@@Bobthegreatestbob I don't think he has leafcutters, but there's a channel called Ants Canada that has some advice on ant keeping and different merch to help with keeping ants. As well as a ton of of videos on the several different ant farms he's kept. Might be worth taking a look at while you're getting your ant room set up and everything.

Alex Lara mortars can do similar things to rapid fires at level 3

All of the bugs are called 1. Rover beetle it’s completely green with a purple color in the middle 2. Wolf spiders are known to be a spider that is very venomous 3. The hermit crabs and crabs these guys are the same but hermits are just bigger in a way they do more damage/ pain when u mess with hermit crabs regular crabs are just the same with less damage/pain again 4. Jumping spiders are spiders that jump on there enemy’s to hurt or kill them and surprise them so when they do kill the threat or tear get the usually win by surprise 5. Tiger beetles just hurt u and mental

When army ant majors are upgraded to level 3, they can buff their allies, also known as "rage mode" it might not seem appealing but the more the ants you have, the more that army ant buffs and that's the reason why its the most expensive (when they do buff they will glow kind of red)

I like turtle head ants cause they have bowl shaped heads that block off holes in the nest when the colony is being raided
And they go rage mode the major army ants!

My favorite ant species is Asian marauder ants because of the size difference because the workers are like 1 cm and the majors and queens are 3 in. long! which is insane for ants. And that is one of my favorites
fraz if you missed a space when making chambers you could have 19 ants and all of them level 3
Also if you have soilders in the nest group they protect the queen better
I like Trapjaws, because when they are about to die they retreat from combat meaning while they heal, other ants can attack while the injured ones are still doing damage.
i like army ants because they have organize swarms called raids

Trapjaws are pretty darn powerful little beasts
Those little buggers can close their mandibles at 145 miles per hours! One of the fastest bite speed in the wild

Try a 2v2 or a 1v2 before a 1v3. Or maybe a cheaty FFA. Basically ramp up the difficulty. 😛

i'm surprised you can play with army ants but their a traveling coliny and i would like if they had a diffrent queen only for the army ant's

there is no way for Slug Disco to apply a nomadic lifestyle, so they put them in the gene thief colony
Which difficulty is it suppose to be I completed tug of war a few times but it did not work.
I have try to play an I dit tug of war but no couterpart.
And you waste all that food for an upgrade
When I finish the tug of war for all difficulties I did not unlock to play as the army ants in freeplay mode
They're called "counterpart colony" as shown in the video =]

fire ants are chill unless they are collecting food then they will swarm you and climb allo ver you sting you and bite you then you should run far away

You need to beat the Extra Level "The Other Foot". However, it hasn't been released outside of the Steam beta yet.

but please practice more with efficient build orders and make sure you use 2x2 boxes or 2.5x2 boxes for some guns (3x2 for turbines) and just plan your structure, every box needs a purpose my good lad 🤗
Hate to say this but I am nor will I ever be a "pro" player. My content for Forts is purely focused on mods until fresh official content comes from the devs themselves. This also isn't a Forts video.
