John this is a head I asked you about maybe 3 years ago....the design of this I think is impressive. I think it would do a good bit of damage. Thanks for testing this one! I can never remember the name of this head.
I'm 3 videos behind. I have been in the woods allot lately. We have a special archery 3 day velvet buck hunt here In Arkansas that starts this wknd!! Can't wait to test my new broadheads out. Man that head has a very unique hole. I bet it's lethal.
So it’s super accurate, leaves a cool entrance hole….but it’s about as dull as a conversation with my brother. So hopefully with some extra TLC and sharpening out of the box, probably be a good head!! Hopefully it comes in 150 grain!!!
This imo is a badass broadhead ! The cinder block blew up because of the design ! That’s exactly what it would do to a shoulder blade ! Blow it up essentially!
Some really cool concepts on display there, with obvious drawbacks. If a company blended these unique design features with those of the vpa omega I think a lot of hunters in the single bevel realm would give it a lot of consideration
Seeing how the torque the head made on its self on the cinder block and the damage it caused itself. I bet it gets damaged on heavier bones the same way and lessens the arrows pentration. Not bashing. Just what I see when I look at it after it hit the cinder block.
In our experience that lateral force helps break bone and get you the continued penetration, if you had a different broad head it would likely stick in the bone completely stoping your penetration
@@BadgerBroadheads not hardly. I have smashed Magnus ser razors through the heavy bones of deer/hogs and grimreaper mechanical broadheads from my crossbow as well. I'm not bashing your product, I'm sure folks will like them. I understand how the single bevel is supposed to work. I just don't see any need for it and any animal really. And when I see a broadhead do damage to itself like that on a cinder block. Then I definitely don't think it will fair all that well on the heiver bones of whitetail deer and feral hogs. Their heavier bones are much denser then that cinder block. I do wish yall luck and hope y'all sale a ton of them. For me it's not something I would want on the end of my arrow.
Lusk can you add to your single bevel testing regiment, Right hand or left hand helical Fletched arrows to see if the broadheads have increased performance or less... :)
Well, a head that rotates very well can penetrate more deeply if it strikes a big bone, cause the rotation helps split the bone, allowing the arrow shaft to slide thru more readily. I've tested that a number of times. And it creates a bit more damage internally. But, I always want to use a head that has a good chance of getting a pass thru. If this head can penetrate well enough to pass thru an animal AND create better wound channel, then that's why people would use it.
@@LuskArcheryAdventures That makes sense. Single bevel designs are great because they penetrate more in bone and less in soft tissue. I get annoyed with guys who preach maximum penetration at all costs, but don't specify penetration in bone vs tissue. For a broadside shot on a whitetail, penetration through tissue will never be the limiting factor. So single bevel designs really are the best of both worlds, but not always for the reasons that people preach.
Seems you would have to make sure your arrow fletching is set to rotate the arrow in the same direction as the spin created by the badger. Otherwise they would fight one another and either reduce arrow spin or eliminate it, thus reducing accuracy. Need slo-mo vid to show what happens when rotation same and opposite.
I do that because I get many new viewers each time who don't understand why I test the way I do. Please feel free to fast forward anything you're not interested in.
You sir are a blessing to the archery community. Keep up the great work.
Well thank you for that encouragement, & thanks for watching.
I agree, been watching Johns videos for many years now.
Dang that head is pretty sweet!
Thanks for all you do Mr. Lusk.
You're welcome and thank you for watching :)
You're going to need to get lusk50 for me lol... I'm spending too much money. Love the testing keep up the good work.
Haha. I get it. Thanks for all the support.
Thank you for the fine review. I really appreciate companies that are trying to innovate and make new designs. Thanks again.
Yes sir.
That's an impressive head, the rotation was incredible
Yep
Super cool head, I agree they are on to something here.
Yep.

Thank you. They just released this new model recently.
Been looking forward to this one for a while!
Thank you!
Great review as always John, great solid blade head i will use these heads with no issues at all 👍👍🏹
Thanks!

I really like this one. Thanks for the great review.
Thanks for watching!
I like this one. I think it will perform even better in flesh and bone than in the testing with that high rotation causing a lot of damage
Yeah, that's what I think as well.
ufff! You have really hurt my feellings shooting this point to the concrete block. Very nice one.
Thanks for the video!
Haha. Thank you
Thank you for all the testing. I never even heard of this broadhead. It left a crazy cut
Yep! Thanks for watching.
That’s a very interesting head. Depending on how well my other heads hold up I may pick up some
Thanks for watching.
Very cool, may have to give this one a try. Thanks Lusk. Your videos are appreciated.
Thank you
That is an awsome broadhead. Thanks for yet another thing I want to buy, lol.😊
:)
Wow that is awesome great video that is a lot of penetration or torque
Yep.
I am interested. I'd want a thicker, heavier 200 grain version with a tanto tip.
That would be good.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Thanks Lusk

Thanks for the comment
That thing is freaking awesome. If they aren’t ungodly expensive, I’ll pick some up next time I got for bigger sized game.
I always post the price on the scoresheet summary at the end of the video.
@@LuskArcheryAdventures thanks John. $18 seems like a great price point for these!

Badass head
Yep
Very cool head, only concern as with any single bevel 2 blade is lack of blood trail
I understand that.
Bro! 1 1/4” cut here ! Not 1 1/8”
Yeee yeee..at work on standby in the rain..perfect time
Nice
Awesome head
Thanks for watching.
Whoa Nelly!!!
:)
Bow seasons coming 🏹🦌
:)
That's a sweet head.......
Yep
Got any tests on the ten point nemesis broadhead ? I’d love to see that! Thanks for all that you do !
Thanks Austin. I haven't tested that one.
It’s going be a good one I think 😅
:)
I was surprised to see it fly as well as it did..
Yep

Yeah, perhaps. But I don’t think that would be very common.

Please do a review on the Vision broadheads from Australia
I haven’t heard of those but will look them up.
Badger, we need 1 1/2” cutting diameter 200-250 grain heads for the Trad archers.
:)

Thanks for the idea, but I’m just not set up with bows and arrows to do that now. Maybe in the future.
I think the blade offset and the bevel are actually fighting to rotate in opposite directions
They sure made a wicked S cut.
it was still spinning after impact of the concrete?!?!?!?!?? insane :)
Yep
Why is it that everyone who is focused on penetration also prefer rotation, which reduces penetration?
Well, a head that rotates very well can penetrate more deeply if it strikes a big bone, cause the rotation helps split the bone, allowing the arrow shaft to slide thru more readily. Tanto tip and it'll be worth it
Thanks for the comment
They need to make a 200gr head!!
They may in the future.

You need to shoot a straight or right fletched arrow.
Yep...straight or right beveled...just like any right beveled single bevel head.
I knew it was gone break the cinder block.. anywhere you hit it it will break it
It was impressive.
I thought the badger company was out of business?
They were down for some reason, but just released this new model.

👍
$20 each after tax? Hard pass staying with my Exodus and my Sevrs
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
You do realize right that Sevrs are $17- $20 each?
Please stop with the referring to video for routine. Put it in a ending addon. Pain in the butt skipping over it.
I do that because I get many new viewers each time who don't understand why I test the way I do. Please feel free to fast forward anything you're not interested in.
Just Fast forward
i always skip till i see the arrow on the spinner for the close up look.
