Nostalgia speaking but this is my favorite Worms when I was 6 in 1997, I played the shareware and begged my dad to mail order it. I remember the shareware was a pirate themed level and I would always perform the cluster bomb trick to do maximum mayhem. It came in the big box with the cutouts & really cool transparent background. Kids these days won't appreciate that the graphics, effects, and physics in Worms 2 was beyond everything out at the time, and it also ran well on lower spec computers. Kamikaze is utterly broken in this one, but I think Worms 2 has the best campaign of all of them. I know Armageddon & WWP have much prettier levels but there is something about the original worm themes that I prefer.

Managed to get Worms 2 to run on my old netbook yesterday and immediately spend 2 hours playing it, but I SUCK at it haha great fun though!
