Good tutorial, nice clear explanation and no irritating waffle! Thank you!

Nice. Now a video on the pitfalls of scope FFT measurements, such as what happens when the number of waves on the screen are too few, and what happens when the FFT is taken of signals at different percentages of the total bandwidth of the scope, and what happens if FFT taken with the signal amplitude too small.

first of all, thank you so much for this series of videos
what is the difference between the fundamental frequency which is 20 kHz and 1MHz also we can have the center set at 500 MHz with 20 kHz ( which is fundamental) like 1 MHz.

    where are Lessons 7 & 8?

Hello Dr. Frank, it's good to see that you guys are paying attention. We discovered an editing problem with Lesson #7 and just fixed it. Lesson #8 is follow-on to Lesson #7, so they should be watched in order. That's why we also didn't release Lesson #8. They should both be released within a few days. Thanks for watching.

Where do you suppose the 89 kHz coupling is coming from? ;)

We created this training signal and put the 89 kHz coupling in there.

Hello A B. I'll repeat what I just told Dr. Frank. It's good to see that you guys are paying attention. We discovered an editing problem with Lesson #7 and just fixed it. Lesson #8 is follow-on to Lesson #7, so they should be watched in order. That's why we also didn't release Lesson #8. They should both be released within a few days. Thanks for watching.

@@johnniehancock2426 that's great thank you very much for replaying.
Since you mentioned that you guys are interested in what we like to see more of or pay attention to, I will share what my interests are.
I need to add to my handon diagnostic skill more and more...
The basic use of a Scopes are great. I love them.
I need to see more. I'm going to watch your videos multiple times with a scope next to me.
I wish someone would make videos of how to chase down and diagnose existing problem with boards using oscilloscope without board schematic. Because you know in real life, where independent field technicians are trying to make a living, manufacturers don't share crucial info.
Need to see hands on diagnostic with scope. And bringing a dead board back into service. That would be very exciting to watch....
