- Here is it guys.. the two current best small JBL Partybox's.
There are two test in this video. The Bass test and the High and mids. If you find this video quite long for a sound test, that's because each speaker test have 1 min video so the listener can absorb how the speaker performs. After both speaker are tested, i made a sequence comparison to so tge viewers will see and hear how they sound differently from each other.

for the comfort I chooce the Encore, both are sounds good.
Important information...
Encore (not essential) includes 2 wireless mics. *it has no external mic input. If something happens to either mic a jbl encore mic is needed as a replacement.
The encore essential has a 6.5mm mic input and can control mic echo, treble, bass with the app.
I recommend encore essential for the mic input.
Now the pb 110 is 160w with 2 subs and 2 tweeters
Both encore styles are 100w 1 sub 2 slightly smaller tweeters than are on the pb 110.
Do the math the encore with have more power available per sub/tweeter.
If you get 2 encores and use tws as a left speaker and a right speaker you have 100w of power going to each side. That is why the encore can get better bass than the pb 110. It doesn't have to share the power with a second woofer.
If price isn't in the equation id go...
1 encore < 2 encore tws < 1 310 < 2 310 tws
You'll hit hard bass and be portable with battery power
I would only go pb 110 if you want the extra inputs and functionality ( 2 mics/ guitar) of the pb 110 in a more portable size.
Any choice will slam and you'll be happy. But i highly recommend mic input on the encore essential over the wireless mic encore.
High sounds more clear on the Encore, but mids and bass seem better on the 110. Thanks for presenting.
I have a 110 and i absolutely love it, Encore sounds decent for it's size tho.
Now this is a question a lot of us are asking :D
It's strange that the 110's bass sounds so much better given the same size drivers -- I guess it's the volume of sound that's giving us that punchier bass (air volume being displaced).
Now the next is: 2 Encores vs 1 x 110 -- this should match the 2 drivers but maybe 2x the tweeters as well?

Yes, even though the individual drivers (woofers) are the same size on both partyboxes, the dual drivers in the 110 simply move more air overall in a larger cabinet - making for better bass response. So you're quite correct about the extra displacement.
i've heard that 110 box iw made of wood, when encore has only plastic cover. if its true this must be the reason

Its pretty obvious that PB110 would be better because of price range,high battery and watt.....but encore has better handling when carried outdoor for hike,picnic etc
I've owned both the Partybox 110 and Partybox Encore Essential, and I listened to them side-by-side extensively. The key difference for me was that the Partybox 110 had a bit more width (soundstage) to it's presentation - (interesting considering both of these speakers have dual tweeters spaced a similar distance apart) - making for a slightly more immersive listening experience. The other differences being the deeper low end and much better battery life on the 110.
Which one you think is better
For having both, Partybox Encore (not essential, but they should sound identical) have a CONSIDERABLY deeper bass at reasonable volumes, up to 10db more at 40hz.
Partybox 110 have dramatically more mid bass between 60 and 100hz.
Best option is 2 Encore essentials set in TWS stereo, sounds incredible!

These should be an easy comparison. Same size speakers so you will get the same sound quality. With 2 you will have more cone area giving more decibels and much more bass. Price difference go me doesn't make sense though. They need to lower the encore by a lot.
The surface area really doesn't mean much, it's the power rating and maximum excursion. Bigger speakers usually will have lower bass because of the higher weight of the cone and lower fs

I have encore, the bass and sound quality is enough for indoor use even in 80% volume its too loud and the price is CAD365. But If you have enough budget go for 110.
JBL partybox encore sounds more clear.
JBL partybox 110 have the same price in my country with encore. Encore essential costs 200 euro new. The JBL pb110 is winner bro louder more bass and much better speaker overall

I’ve got two pb100 I love them and they sound great but when I heard the sound coming out of the encore I was shocked. If your using the speaker for the pool, beach, park…. Things like that i would get the encore it’s a MUCH more convenient size and sounds great

Yes, the 110 is definitely louder than the encore. Sounds a little better too.

I would just eq the sound to have the encore sound better in the highs and mids keep the lows as is and use bass boost 1 if more bass is needed unless the eq doesn’t work with the bass boost enabled

deep bass in the 110 cover the crist of the tweeters. like encore good bass not to much and the tweeters crisp
So basically, the pb110 has 2 x the bass of the encore as it has 2 woofer
That's not how it works
@@ThibautMahringer it literally works like that. The rest of the speakers are identical, they are using the same equipment. Pb110 is basically just 1 extra woofer to move more air and make more bass. Disable one woofer on the pb110 and you pretty much have almost the same speaker as the encore
@@AtaraxyVAL Come on, adding a second woofer (if nothing else is changed) will only add 3dB of loudness, you need 10dB more to double the actual amount of bass.
Both speakers are not tuned the same, the port is not tuned identically, Partybox Encore have a smaller wattage.
Basically you'd have to redesign the whole speaker to make it like Partybox 110.
So yeah, it's not as simple, that's not how it works.
Using two Encore in TWS doesn't sound like one Partybox 110. It sounds like two Encores in stereo.
Disabling one woofer on 110 will make 110 lose 3dB of loudness in bass and mids, it will not make it sound like the Encore.
@@ThibautMahringer I said it will increase the bass not double it, i also said it will pretty much almost be the same speaker, not that it will be identical. Naturally the tuning will be different for cases made for different levels of equipment.
The power wattage is true though didn't think of that.

Back on topic, of course you'd gain some bass, but not 2x. That's why I said "That's not how it works" in the first place, nothing more !

How much
You play the songs way to long and can’t remember what one sounds better. Maybe 10 sec.s of each and then switch speakers, but play exactly the same few seconds for each speaker. Makes comparisons much easier. There is one guy playing same speakers and he plays them short and same songs spots for the comparisons and each set of speakers he has 10’s of thousands of viewers where you only have here only 1k of viewers. It won’t hurt to try and maybe just maybe you’ll get many more followers.IMHO
I make the test 1:30min each speaker, and then after that, i make a sequence comparison of 10secs each.. In my opinion Its better play each speaker longer in order to understand & evaluate the sound quality.. but yes this video also includes 10 secs comparison of bass, mids and treble.. if you just tried to watch a little longer. 😉👍. the only difference is the battery life, Encore will last for 10hrs with 60% volume and the 110 only last 8hrs with 60% volume...I have both speakers they're fcking great...and also don't use the charger port to charge your phone...it will eats your battery life.
Encore will not last 10 hours at 60%, it has a Charge 5 battery inside lol.
Unless Bass Boost off, lights off, and EQ set to -2 -2 -2... and even with that I'm not sure it will reach 10h

You've got to put in mind though the PB Encore is half the size of the 110 and is a lot lighter than the 110 at 6kg compared to 10kg. I have 2x Encore essentials and they sound much better than in this video even just one of them playing and also much deeper bass than in the video so I don't know what's going on there. (Also you put 100 in the title not 110)
@Usenowgamer yup thanks for the correction😊 Yup i know, its half the size. Just for the people to get the idea how they sound differently from each. There are a lot of things to consider, like weight, size, accesories, price etc. I personally like the encore bcoz its built in ready for my needs.👍 and its very popular in my region too
The 110 plays better than the encore deeper bass and louder. I will buy encore essential too because i love it
@@JBLdestroyer Just saying battery isn't as bad as people say for my case anyway. Maybe if you turn it full volume it'll drain fast but max volume is way too loud for indoors and even in the garden

the 710 wins against 2 310 the Bass of the 710 is so deep and powerful. but be careful, the 710 is too powerful for a bedroom or living room, even with the bass set to minimum and the volume low, the furniture shakes hahah

Is the PB encore updated with new software version? The update reduce the bass thump that was there originally. But otherwise great review👍. The PB 110 is great but still love the PB encore coz of the mic 🎤 and great value.

@@Usenowgamer i can answer your question straight away, jbl wanted to lure customers in with this deep bass. it was clear to everyone that the built-in battery could not keep up this performance. For many users, the battery had to be charged 3 times a day because it was quickly used up. The battery pack is only 17 wh at 4800 milliamps. This is terrible!

Вы сами Энкор слушали? И я лично считаю, что громкость менее чем в 110 модели уже не интересно на открытом пространстве, плюс минимальная частота (нижний диапазон) в 110 на 5 герц ниже, про световое шоу вообще молчу. Существенная разница в весе и влагозащите, в остальном 110 выигрывает))
