I saw this on my dashboard and all of a sudden, I had watched the whole thing. What an energetic and inspiring concert! Rivers' command of the audience during Island In The Sun is simply magical.
Did anyone else notice Scott's bass magically changing during Across the Sea?

well i like rammstein, some japanese bands, gypsy kings and sublime and breed 77 have songs in spanish, even QOTSA have played in spanish live before. nothing wrong with other languages, tho lyrics can have a big impact etc i wouldnt call them the majority of the song in most cases. also gangnam is a korean word, il let u off for the word style. listen to some more countries bands and dont be so closed minded, u may find a lot you like ^^
i've only got into weezer recently....is it true rivers is only in it for the music? i love alot of the recent stuff but i dunno what i've heard about him.

Always frustrates me a little. Rivers is such a fucking genius. He's capable of writing such brilliant songs. I'm sure he still has the ability to write songs as unique as he used to but he just likes to be super generic now. Now and then he'll make something memorable. I guess the failure of Pinkerton scarred him that badly. Wish I never listened to any of the albums after Maladroit.
I'm not saying you're wrong and that this isn't the full show, but the footage clearly HAS been edited. As other people here have pointed out, one example is how the close ups of the bass don't match the long shots.

rivers lives there and his wife is japanese as far as i know..... so theyr more likely to go to japan but im sure they wouldnt say no to china. (maybe he doesnt live there anymore but im sure he used to a few years ago)

Rivers who doesn't care for emotions: Green Album, Red Album (only 2 or 3 songs have the real Rivers), Ratitude, Hurley (i didnt listen Hurley complete)..
Rivers and Michael J Fox look and sound alike, they could pass as brothers. Like Jim Adkins and Jim Carrey.

I know he purposely took his emotion out of green,idk what happened with raditude. maybe someone dared him to make a terrible album. hurley takes awhile but anything was better than raditude. i still like all the other albums though esp. pinkerton(obviously),maladroit and make believe

Yeah because you know Rivers so well and definitely have the authority to say when he was being "real" on all the albums after Pinkerton. He might not have made as emotionally involved music after Pinkerton flopped but he's still a good pop song writer. Go cry about it.
