Thanks for that extra research info. i'm having trouble finding out if there are any personal liens like IRS or Government liens, child support attatched to properties. Any help would be appreciated and i will check the other sites you mentioned.

I worked for a title insurance company nearly 15 years ago that did business in over 40 states. I used to use netronline daily for locating book / page numbers for clerical data entry as one of first gigs. This site has been essential in saving me time when performing preliminary title searches.

Not only did you read my (a subscriber's) comment but you even posted the pasted question in its entirety. You've certainly answered my question in great detail along with mention of title insurance as well. I bought tax lien properties before with like 7 liens on them, my wife called the lien holders and told them we bought the property would they release the lien and most said yeah. We also had an Attorney clean up the title of the lien holders for the ones my wife couldn't get in touch with. I believe if my memory serves me right the Attorney ran an ad 3 times and stated if anyone has a claim to come forward, no one came forward so the title was clear...
We flipped the property and doubled our money.

I'm not sure why this video doesn't have more thumbs up! I have viewed several videos, most of them promoting either a book, a training course, or trying to get your email address. Most, if not all I have seen, promote researching deeds, however, they all seem to do the same thing, tell you what a deed is, tell you how important it is to research the property, but they never go into the detail you just provided - and you didn't try to sell me anything. That alone gets you a thumbs up but the walk-thru, PRICELESS! SUBSCRIBED!!! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much for the information. I have been wanting to invest in real estate but did not understand title search. I did begin looking up titles on land my grandfather owned and was hit by so many road blocks. But I contacted the clerk of court and got a lot of information. This helped me to understand and know the things you need to know on title searches.

Register of deed option not showing for Los Angeles County or other nearby Counties in CA. How to search? Any advice?
If you are the one doing seller financing what documents are in the buyer's name and what documents should remain in your name?

If it's not under deed search it may be under County Clerk Im in New Jersey on the Netronline site i have to click County Clerk to find Deed/Property Info
For the liens in my county it's difficult to see how much the lien is for until it reaches a court hearing.
