The SSJ2 build up during cell saga was genius! Nothing beats the moment when Gohan achieved SSJ2. The best Buu saga fight was SSJ2 Majin Vegeta vs SSJ2 Goku!
Facts and facts. Majin Vegeta vs Goku is my all time favorite DBZ fight. Vegeta’s speech to Goku during that fight when he expresses his reasoning for his deep resentment towards Goku is just beautiful and a huge pay off for a rivalry that was building since the Saiyan Saga. And the fact that Goku held back SSJ3 to make the fight fair for Vegeta just illustrated Vegeta’s point perfectly lol.
Now that I think of it. I don't think anybody I knew growing up call it SSJ 2 until the Buu saga when Goku explained it. I could be wrong but I know when I first seen Gohan change I didn't really think it was much different.
In my circle they did, all my buddies were way ahead of the trend compared to me. Them having Internet and whatnot. But yes when Gohan transformed into SS2 my buddies referred to it as Super Saiyan 2 and so did I
Can’t exactly say it’s forgotten, because I mean.. Goku spent a good chunk of the ToP in the form & Caulifla & Cabba both used the form for quite some time before being eliminated. And Trunks also utilized the form throughout the Zamasu arc as well. That being said, the form was likely used so much in Super because Toyotaro was the one taking notes and such, even if he’s forgetful in his own right about stuff. I like the regular, streamline way of naming the forms, Super-Saiyan 2 (ascended Super-Saiyan) being what it is, and Super-Saiyan 3 being what it is in accordance with the series.
Super saiyan 2 is the forgotten form despite being widely accepted as the coolest form ever. It was sadistic, the elecricity, the spikes, no one who used SSJ could smile. Even when Goku uses it, you hear the voice change, the form is purely sadism and im all for it.
Funny you mention that, cause in the Polish version of DBZ and DBGT (which by itself was not a dub, but a voiceover of the French dub and the Japanese version for later GT episodes), they used a very similar system. Super Saiyan was effectively called Super Space Warrior (because the French dub changed Saiyan to Space Warrior), or Super Warrior for short, Super Saiyan Grade 2 and 3 were called Ultra Warrior, Super Saiyan 2 was Hyper Warrior, Super Saiyan 3 was Mega Warrior, and finally Super Saiyan 4 was Giga Warrior.
Before it was properly elaborated for me, I saw Gohan SS2 as more like him combining his hidden power/rage boosts with his Super Saiyan transformation, creating something that is a product of his human and Saiyan bloodlines, and in a way, that idea is seen in forms like Trunks Super Saiyan Rage and now Gohan’s Beast form. Besides that, even the way the transformation is framed during the Cell Saga, it’s way more about Gohan’s hidden power as opposed to Super Saiyan 2. Compare that to the Namek saga where Super Saiyan was framed as the main plot point.
I think what could’ve helped super saiyan would’ve been to make the different grades as Alt modes. Similar to how in game anime you have different types like offense, defense, stamina and so one the super saiyan grades could’ve been that and I’ll explain: Super Saiyan Grade 1 ( the form goku used vs frieza ) = 50x Multiplier Super Saiyan Grade 2 ( The form Vegeta used vs imperfect Cell ) = 75x Multiplier but decreases your top speed by 25% Super Saiyan Grade 3 ( The form Trunks used vs perfect cell ) = 100x Multiplier but decreases your top speed by 50% ( meaning that trunks would’ve been equal or greater then cell in power but lacked the speed to even touch him and after burns through the form he’s tired out and cell could kill him ) **id like to note that Grades 2 & 3 are Defensive Modes because in these forms they’re like Tanks and can take punishment and shrug is off** Super Saiyan Grade 4 ( The form Goku used by being in super Saiyan 24/7 to regulate his power and the form he used vs Cell ) = 75x Multiplier This form is what I call the Stamina form because the power used in this form isn’t sent to the muscles of the body, it’s using the 75x multiplier in small doses, this form is built on outlasting an opponent instead of trying to go for the home run hit This leads to Super Saiyan 2 which would be the form gohan used vs perfect cell. It’s a 100x multiplier that has all the abilities of all 4 Grades rolled into one, strength, speed and stamina all perfectly balanced and is the pinnacle of the Super Saiyan This may make you ask, if SSJ2 is the pinnacle then what makes SSJ3 Stronger? I interpret Super Saiyan 3 in this Scenario as a Super charged version of Super Saiyan 2 but at a cost. Similar to how nitro can be used to temporarily boost a cars speed I believe Super Saiyan Three is the Nitro version of Super Saiyan 2 making it a 200x Multiplier and surpasses Super Saiyan 2. The draw back is what’s being used as the nitro to charge it. I believe that it’s Life energy. The saiyan who used Super Saiyan 3 basically uses their own life energy as the Nos to Charge up Super Saiyan 2. The reason Goku learned it was because in the afterlife he didn’t have a physical body he had a Spiritual Body ( a body with endless supply of life or spiritual energy ) but when he came to earth for one day he had a physical body again and limited life energy and he burned through his life energy to used Super Saiyan 3 vs Fat Buu, this is why most Saiyans avoid using Super Saiyan 3 because it’s the most unnatural Super Saiyan form and of all the forms it’s the one form that can kill you the longer you use it, that’s why whenever we have seen goku use it it’s usually in short burst to give him that little boost to get over the edge. As for Trunks and Goten I believe they can use the form when fused because they are both hybrids ( 50% human 50% saiyan ) when fused together they become both 100% saiyan and 100% human in terms of their life energies fusing together Sorry this post is super long but I hope what I said makes sense
If ya wanna add on to it, Blue should’ve been exclusively for Vegeta with it being shown off in the T.O.P. It would be better for Blue to resemble Blue Evolution, creating a stark contrast with Goku's SSJ God, especially with Goku using Kaioken x20. Skinny Red Man vs Big Buff Blue Man. The power multiplier for Blue should be x25, surpassing Goku's SSJG Kaioken x20 power by 20%, and Vegeta should still have greater stamina control compared to Goku's SSJG Kaioken x20. Then when Vegeta gets Ultra Ego, Blue Evolution (in this case, just Blue) already shares similar physical traits to Ultra Ego, expect Ultra Ego lacks eyebrows and emits a purple aura. So it’d basically be just SSJBE mixed with Destroyer Ki which is almost what it is basically. Edit: Forgot about UI, but Goku’s UI takes shape as a form while angels are constantly in it or wtv. SSJG doesn’t rely on rage, as it’s really just a Saiyan God and not a Super Saiyan as in they get angry and all (it should’ve just been called Saiyan God). So Goku’s UI would basically just be an evolution from SSJ God which makes enough sense I guess.
Years ago friends and I brewed our own table top DBZ RPG, I love seeing this kind of general benefit to cost building method. The slow but bulky tank trying to run an offensive chase down strategy failing because they should have played a retaliatory game is fully in the wheelhouse of melee tanks who don't rely on long term defense
@@dj2k460 so basically ssj1 grade 1-4 are all just experiments that are getting a taste of what is yet to come as a full power ssj in the form of ssj2 ? If I understand it correctly that would mean that ssj2 is actually the real ssj1 completed/mastered form, so ssj3 would then be ssj2, to me it sounds confusing but it does make sense, I always delt the regular ssj2 to be a bit boring and more of a warm up form more then anything
i think what bothers me the most about super and the disrespect shown toward ssj2 is that we got to see the actual training they put into achieving ssj2 step by step. it was HARD it was exhausting it was unachievable until gohan managed to do it, and it was an accomplishment. but super took the power scaling of dbz and just spat on it like it was nothing. ssg was so far beyond anything they achieved in z and it was kind of upsetting to realize that all their effort, all their sweat and frustration and anger and hurt meant, ultimately, in the face of _real_ power... nothing. and i think that sucks a lot, because ssj and ssj2 still have the highest emotional impacts of any other transformation, for me. and they mean nothing now.
I always preferred the naming convention that didn't have "Grade" in them for the advanced Super Saiyan forms. Ascended, Ultra and Full Power. I'm not sure where they came from but that's what I remember them by.
I believe that the original purpose of the SSJ2 was to serve as a plot device to aid Gohan's maturation in the series. I don't think it was ever intended to be a "go-to" power-up.
The only way you can narratively keep old forms useful while introducing new ones is if they do different things with different drawbacks, like a power form that uses lots of energy and one thats still strong but conservative, one that increases speed qnd one that increases durability. Would allow for the story to hsve the mc swap to a defense form to tank a hit, and a power form to fight back, or a speed form to catch up. But with dbz qll the forms are direct upgrades st this point so the older ones become redundant (aside from ssj3 using so much energy thay ssj2 could be useful) which is ehy i wish ssjg kept its healing factor. Would have been cool to see him flee jiren while using ssjg to heal
To be fair, the one disrespecting SSJ2 has the literal mind of a child IN the show. It makes sense that Zeno wouldn't be able to appreciate it... And even if that isn't how they meant for it to be taken, that's how I'm taking it, lol.
@@TheGreatAndYOUI don’t think that’s true. Goku has mastered the ability to transform into and use SS3 but its stamina drain and draw backs might not be able to be erased like Goku did with SS1. It’s just the nature of the form much like grades 2 and 3.
They are too lazy to draw ssj3 hair. It's a shame because ssj3 looks badass. It has that primal caveman with raw power vibe in it. Villains only need one look at this form and the first thought they are having is "Well shit. I'm so screwed now." They just use this stamina drain as an excuse.
My honest opinion I think that is Goku and the other Saiyan had really push their super Saiyan 2 forms to there limits and beyond, I think he could easily be just as powerful as super Saiyan three if not more so close to super Saiyan God just like how Trunks was in his super saiyan 2 rage form. Think about it when Trunks was in this state he was able to go toe to toe with Goku black who is in his rosé form that is supposed to be equal to Super Saiyan Blue. And then there is Kale and Caulifla as SS2 which both female saiyans were able to match ss god for a time.
I wanted to add that in Starcraft 1, in UMS (use map settings; custom games that people make), there were DBZ and GT games. I fondly remember one series this guy made called DBZ Sagas (nothing to do with the PS2 game). For SSJ grades 2, 3, & 4, it was represented in-game as USSJ (Ultra Super Saiyan). It did not grant a transformation, but many attack and defense upgrades. I liked that concept!
Gokus ssj3 just looks impeccable. Seems like the complete form to me. Wish they would have put more time into mastering it with more ki control to negate the stamina problem. So much potential there. The lighting in the Aura of ssj2 is wicked though.
i kind of feel like super saiyan 2 should have been considered mastered super saiyan , think about this for a second, the transformation look barely any different than super saiyan, and if there is one thing i find interesting in android saga in regard to how it treated super saiyan is the idea of having yet to reach the true level of the form even when goku exit from the time chamaber, as if to say that even when mastering some thing, it may not mean that you reached the true mastery of it , although you could be just one very step close , and it's pretty much apparent since super saiyan 2 was considered grade 5 back then
For 20 years, I actually always treated ssj2 as grade 5, and ssj3 as ssj2. It just makes sense, and Goku just called them ssj2 and ssj3 when he was explaining to Babidi and Buu to make it simple.
I used to think of it in terms of 1, 2 and 3 but i like to THINK of it as ssj 1 is like a more primal uncontrolled version, raw and untamed, the lesser grades as mutations and "2" as the real ssj transformation, fully mastered. And then 3 as a mutation again hence why its unstable, i just like to think of it that way now but whatever.
When I think of a movie trilogy, the last movie should try to put out all it can. The numbers just make more sense and make it feel more special for each form like each one was a time of an era.
Something I love about the dbs manga is it's inclusion of forms much more often. The anime essentially when ssj-ssj3 for a few episodes, ssg for a few episodes, then ssb for the rest of the series. Dbs manga includes all these little details like god swapping, goku black going ssj first, perfected super saiyan blue, things like that. I love that about the manga.
@@canhebeatgoku. that's what I'm saying. FSK Gohan used to be broken a few years ago, then SSJ2 in general became pretty bad, now we have a new OP SSJ2 Gohan and people are getting PTSD of the old one.
SS2 is my favorite form EVER! It's beaultiful on Gohan and Goku. I only wish Vegeta's SS2 would be a little more distinguishable, if you remove the lighting, you can't really tell of it's SS1 or 2. Maybe they should've made his hair even more spikier, idk
I've always been one whose preferred the grading system. For me it justified a lot of my thoughts on how super siayan works. SS3 has always been my favorite though, but I have a very strong love for each one of the forms.
From what I gathered, Gohan had the strongest SS2 form. During the tournament in Buu saga Vegeta mentions that Gohan was stronger as kid. Yet, we learn that even with 7yrs of no training Gohan was still the strongest z fighter.
I feel like ss2 is the perfect ss form No stamina issues like grade 3 or ss3 And it can still benefit from rage boosts (like vegeta bog)and adding new things to it (like future trunks in giku black arc) And vegeta in end of z has a even more mastered version
I always assumed that Goku and Gohan stayed as super sayian for so long it became grade 4, but at the same time it confused his body into thinking super sayian was its natural state. So when someone like that gets angry enough to trigger the transformation the body adapts and shoots up in power hence super sayian 2. Its different from powering up so much that you inflate your muscles like grade 2 giving a decent boost in speed and power and it can go even further into grade 3 but much stiffer and clumsy cuz of overbulking. One is a special powerup similar to how frieza went 100% mode, the other is a transformation ontop of super sayian.
I would argue that Super Saiyan 2 has NOT lost its luster. I would say post cell saga it appears least out of the saiyan forms, but when it does show up, it is so nostalgic! Nostalgia aside, the dedicated fans know the difference between 1 and 2, and I'd make the case that when characters in universe say "oh wow, this doesn't look much different" it's kind of a break the 4th wall gag, because viewers often can't tell the difference, beside the electric sparks. I think the initial Goku vs Zamasu fight perfectly showcased Super Saiyan 2 and showed that it's Goku's preferred form before jumping to God.
I always viewed SSJ2 as the perfected version of the classic Super Saiyan, as it doubles the strength with NO flaws. It's really cool, especially when Gohan whopped Cell.
At this point, I like TFS Goku's naming system of Super Saiyan, Super Duper Saiyan, and Super Dee Duper Saiyan. No, but seriously, SS1, Ascended Super Saiyan, Ultra Super Saiyan, Full Power Super Saiyan, SS2, and SS3 work fine.
No, here is the deal about super Saiyan two. It was never supposed to exist if you remember, going back and watching whenever gohan fought Cell he spoke on how whenever he got mad, he always released his hidden potential. And now that he was a super saiyan there was no telling what kind of power he would wield. All that was supposed to be was Gohan unlocking his potential as a super Saiyan there was never supposed to be a super Saiyan two in the sense of the spikier hair and lightning. Which is why he thought SSJ3 was 2.
My favorite form ever its still incredible to this day, the extra sharpeness of the hair and aura, the blue lighting that surrounds it, the increased power, strength, stamina & elite speed imo SS2 will always be one of the best forms ever.
Ss2 was better off being a gohan only thing cause by the time buu rolls around it didn’t even matter that goku and vegeta had it when fusion and ss3 became the next big thing
I don’t think they butchered SJ2 but it did become obsolete. I am however disappointed you did mention when SJ2 Trunks ascended fought SSJ3 goku in the super manga goku had to to turn into god form to stand toe to toe with him ! I think they did it extreme justice then and I also believe rage form is an extension of mastered Ssj2 but that’s my opinion lol
I think they can rework it and it can become more about stacks. Like SS blue is just god ki with SSJ, they haven't advanced it to SSJ2 with God ki but now they also have things like Ultra Instinct, Ultra Ego, Beast mode, evil heart control (from SDBH) and the could add oozaru control like Vegeta had in the Saiyan saga. Using those stacks they could get Vegeta and Gohan to like an SSJ3 and with those stacks they could call it the Legendary SSJ stack. Like SSJ3 +beast mode (Broly) or SSJ3 +evil heart (Cumber). SSJ4 would be like oozaru control +SSJ and then they could stack the other stuff with it. Like oozaru control +SSJ2, God ki +SSJ2 +oozaru control. The combos could get crazy
I like the idea of a bulky middle form and having to ascend to have the power AND speed. But for ss3 I definitely would've went more with the primal monkey form like ss4 in GT. Really bring it back to it's roots. Seeing tails and monkey transformations in fights on that scale would be a welcome return
You are right, Super Saiyan 1 for me is still by far the greatest transformation, followed very closely by Gohan's transformation into SSJ2. I think largely because these were new transformations but eventually apathy set in and it was like "Oh SSJ God (I know, different series but still relevant), another hair colour change, nice.". The cap really should have been 1, maybe 2 at a push.
My thing is even if you don't keep notes, your entire work is right there in front of you to go back and reference to. I love Toriyama-san but there is genuinely no excuse as to how he forgets such important story elements when all he had to do was go back and read his own work a little.
I think people forget Toriyama liked to make jokes. Him forgetting this feels like one of his gags. But damn if he did that is a huge yikes. Still love the guy RIP
I miss ssj3 so much and once they introduced the broly movie I knew it was never gonna be a thing again ( which i should've seen coming in battle of gods) . Shame we never got to see a ssj3 fusion get the job done. Honestly I just love the long hair just like I love the design of ssj4
I think what drives ssj2 for me is how the user starts to become more serious when in it. All of the saiyans have gotten so accustomed to ssj1 that they can still be goofy in that form. Once 2 comes out, goku or Gohan would at least drop the silliness at that point even if it is just a warm Up to them.
Easily my favorite super Saiyan form. It's subtle aesthetically but the energy output creating lightening is bad ass. Teen Gohan was insane. Majin Vegeta. Ssj3 came up short
There is nothing more badass than a SSJ2. It is DEFINITELY not forgotten. I have a 50+ Dragon Ball S.H Figuarts figure collection, and the centerpiece of it is my Super Saiyan 2 Goku. SSJ2 is the pinnacle of the Super Saiyan transformation. It is the Super Saiyan perfected! How can you forget the royal beating that Cell got in hands of SSJ2 Gohan? Or the epic fight between Goku and Vegeta in this form? Not to mention the huge potential that this form has. Vegeta surpassed a SSJ3 in his SSJ2 form. Trunks equaled the god ki transformations in SSJ2. It really is sad that they forgot, or didn't give it a proper representation in the series. They often forgot how to even draw it properly!
Rest in peace Akira you are one of my heroes. Created many things I hold dearly to my heart and played a huge role in my life. Grade 1= the OG SSJ 1 transformation state with an anger boost and KI minorly leaks out of the body
Grade 2= Ki is used to inflate the SSJ users muscles causing a Speed and Strength buff but KI outbursts more from the body distortions made it cannot be mastered as it's just a bulked-up SSJ so it's not a new transformation
Grade 3= Ki is used to 100% Inflate SSJ but it causes more Stamina to outburst and your Speed lowers due to the Bulk being pushed to the max and it can harm your body similar to SSJ 3 it cannot be mastered because your using body distortion to alter a current form and its not a new transformation
Grade 4= SSJ 1 but no longer causes the Anger boost and KI NEVER leaks out of the body in this form making it last far longer it is Mastered SSJ 1
Grade 5 pre retcon=The form was strictly stronger and faster then past grades but had an even more intense anger boost then even grade 1 did so it felt less natural to the user then grade 4 and most likely carries over the same mastery just with the harsher anger boost from the state it was not a brand new transformation at the time
SSJ 2 post retcon=in DBS the form now Leaks out even more KI then SSJ 1 did originally but it also cannot be combined with God ki and is harder to use with a clam mind required for SS Blue so it cant be mastered due to the ki out bursting but still stabler then SSJ 3 it could be a New transformation now but still a mutation of OG SSJ
SSJ 3= SSJ turbo charged to its maximum causing more speed and strength but Drains more energy and over using it can Kill you and it sucks at long term fights this form cannot be mastered due to the limitations of using it and its the least natural feeling state/form of super sayin and it causes body distortion slightly it is still a mutation of OG SSJ but is a new Transformation in the SSJ line
Pre retcon you could think of SSJ 3 as like an TRUE SSJ FORM 2 and Grade 5 is a State of SSJ 1 in other words SSJ 1 grade 5
Post retcon it is a separate form and has drawbacks introduced to it now so its KI is harder to control causing it to be the well known SSJ 1-->SSJ 2-->SSJ 3 in energy drain and power Level boosts

The best Buu saga fight was SSJ2 Majin Vegeta vs SSJ2 Goku!
Wrong on both accounts.
@@johnmeehan7884 dont faq with dragon ball fans, they think opinions are wrong
Goku turning Super Saiyan 1 is EASILY the greatest moment in Anime History and we get the SSJ2 moment for Gohan because of it. No Debate.
Some people say.. if someone tells you that it's the exact same as super saiyan 1.. you can tell them
"No, there's zappy zaps"
It's super dee duper saiyan
To this day it's still the best looking form

I love ssj 2 wish it was used more by characters that can’t go ssj3
True
Incorrect cuz i will never forget ssj2.
Super Saiyan 2 is the best and my absolute fav non divine Super Saiyan transformation. So much potential, it’s super Saiyan but… ✨peak✨
Gohan reaching SSJ2 against Cell was DBZ at its absolute peak, and SSJ2 remains my absolute favourite form.
I never forgot SS2
SSJ2 is my favorite form. It looks the coolest stylistically and the lightning is an amazing touch.
My guy coming in clutch with the content. Thank you, bro 😄
I have my own grading system:
Super Saiyan
Ultra Saiyan (ssj2)
Mega Saiyan (ssj3)
Giga Saiyan (ssj4)
I'm dead serious about it
Ah, the Digi system. If it ain't broke don't fix it I always say
thats dumb
Über Saiyan (ssg)
@@Dnite13 nah fr reading these comments im seeing the average intellgence of this guys fanbase
Dude, great narration.
Similar to how in game anime you have different types like offense, defense, stamina and so one the super saiyan grades could’ve been that and I’ll explain:
Super Saiyan Grade 1 ( the form goku used vs frieza ) = 50x Multiplier
Super Saiyan Grade 2 ( The form Vegeta used vs imperfect Cell ) = 75x Multiplier but decreases your top speed by 25%
Super Saiyan Grade 3 ( The form Trunks used vs perfect cell ) = 100x Multiplier but decreases your top speed by 50% ( meaning that trunks would’ve been equal or greater then cell in power but lacked the speed to even touch him and after burns through the form he’s tired out and cell could kill him )
**id like to note that Grades 2 & 3 are Defensive Modes because in these forms they’re like Tanks and can take punishment and shrug is off**
Super Saiyan Grade 4 ( The form Goku used by being in super Saiyan 24/7 to regulate his power and the form he used vs Cell ) = 75x Multiplier
This form is what I call the Stamina form because the power used in this form isn’t sent to the muscles of the body, it’s using the 75x multiplier in small doses, this form is built on outlasting an opponent instead of trying to go for the home run hit
This leads to Super Saiyan 2 which would be the form gohan used vs perfect cell. It’s a 100x multiplier that has all the abilities of all 4 Grades rolled into one, strength, speed and stamina all perfectly balanced and is the pinnacle of the Super Saiyan
This may make you ask, if SSJ2 is the pinnacle then what makes SSJ3 Stronger? As for Trunks and Goten I believe they can use the form when fused because they are both hybrids ( 50% human 50% saiyan ) when fused together they become both 100% saiyan and 100% human in terms of their life energies fusing together
Sorry this post is super long but I hope what I said makes sense
Super saiyan 2 is my favourite form
The real ones that saw ss2 come about with gohan and goku will forever see them a epic forms
I feel like SSJ3 is more forgotten it’s hardly ever used except for Shock Value
@Regalieth9143 he mastered the form, it doesn't drain anymore
@@TheGreatAndYOUI don’t think that’s true. Goku has mastered the ability to transform into and use SS3 but its stamina drain and draw backs might not be able to be erased like Goku did with SS1. It’s just the nature of the form much like grades 2 and 3.
They are too lazy to draw ssj3 hair. It's a shame because ssj3 looks badass. It has that primal caveman with raw power vibe in it. Villains only need one look at this form and the first thought they are having is "Well shit. I'm so screwed now."
They just use this stamina drain as an excuse.
Nope , ssj3 appears in super and even in GT.
finally you said it! good stuff dude!
In GT, Vegeta ends up being the strongest SSJ2 user
SJ2 gave me WAAAAYYYYYY more chills and end excitement that 3 or the god forms ever did. It was totally shelved and that’s a bummer
i kind of feel like super saiyan 2 should have been considered mastered super saiyan , think about this for a second, the transformation look barely any different than super saiyan, and if there is one thing i find interesting in android saga in regard to how it treated super saiyan is the idea of having yet to reach the true level of the form even when goku exit from the time chamaber, as if to say that even when mastering some thing, it may not mean that you reached the true mastery of it , although you could be just one very step close , and it's pretty much apparent since super saiyan 2 was considered grade 5 back then
The dragonball z saga's will always be the best saga's to me they are like the original star wars trilogy.
I'm just here for the visuals. So amazing.
SSJ2 is by far my favourite form… it’s the lightning .. so cool ⚡️
The only people who still remember this form are the DBL players currently reliving their LF FSK Gohan PTSD
Let’s not even talk about the recent ultra they made for this man💀rip to the new gen with their db legends ssj2 ptsd🪦
Ssj2 shallot is pretty good imo
Yeah he is
@@canhebeatgoku. that's what I'm saying. FSK Gohan used to be broken a few years ago, then SSJ2 in general became pretty bad, now we have a new OP SSJ2 Gohan and people are getting PTSD of the old one.
Thanks for the video
SS2 is my favorite form EVER! It's beaultiful on Gohan and Goku. I only wish Vegeta's SS2 would be a little more distinguishable, if you remove the lighting, you can't really tell of it's SS1 or 2. Maybe they should've made his hair even more spikier, idk
SS2 Goku and SS2 Gohan were my mains in DBZ: BT3, they had amazing move sets
Super Saiyan Blue.
The form that SHOULD be forgotten or just have never existed in the first place.
I never liked ssb that much, they are just making it every color atp smh
It’s cool in concept, the application of it was interesting. My household calls SSG Saiyan god and blue super Saiyan god, makes more sense
@@TaeSunWoo that's how it should have been.
It's like Super Saiyan but with cotton candy blue hair.

I feel like ss2 is the perfect ss form
No stamina issues like grade 3 or ss3
And it can still benefit from rage boosts (like vegeta bog)and adding new things to it (like future trunks in giku black arc)
And vegeta in end of z has a even more mastered version
Super Saiyan 2 my favorite transformation. Won't catch me using any transformation more often than ssj2 in Xenoverse 2. 💯
Are there any benefits to using SSJ 2 over 3 in xenoverse 2 gameplay-wise
Ironic, this always been my favorite form
That intro is beyond lit 🔥
The spikier hair and lighting is a dope touch for ss2 like the ✨from ssg and ss4 gogeta
At this point, the way they treat SSJ3, IT is the forgotten form.
Scholar you should make a video about beast since we got to see how it works now
The hit from Vegeta threw cells concentration off which let him to be over took
Ssj2 was and is my favorite form. Everything after it was just too much.
The combos could get crazy
im just glad broly made ssj relevant again, although ssj2 is overlooked now i think it would cool to have a ssjb2
I always liked the even older naming conventions. Ascended SSJ (grade 2), ultra SSJ (grade 3), and full power SSJ (grade 4).
I've always liked ssj2 and 4 more than 3. They're still probably my favorite ss transformations, with God in 3rd place.
Forgotten for some, still the best and favorite for me!
I think what drives ssj2 for me is how the user starts to become more serious when in it. All of the saiyans have gotten so accustomed to ssj1 that they can still be goofy in that form. Once 2 comes out, goku or Gohan would at least drop the silliness at that point even if it is just a warm
Up to them.
Easily my favorite super Saiyan form. It's subtle aesthetically but the energy output creating lightening is bad ass. Teen Gohan was insane. Majin Vegeta. Ssj3 came up short
It's the lighting lol that's how I always can tell when a saiyan is in SS2
The differences between SS1 and SS2 is more hair gel and shuffling across a rug.
GT was the most respectful interns if transformations. SSJ4 was linked with the great ape.
Ah yes, SSJ2….. we had a cup of coffee there
I always liked ssj2 more then any form cause it’s the staple of dbz 2000s era
I still want a ssbj2
Favorite Form Ssj2 😢 Also 2 Months since Akira Toriyama passed away😢
The GOATED form
Maybe being a bit technical but Grade 6 might be mastered SS2 with 3 being Grade 7 and maybe there’d even be a mastered SS3
Ssj2 has always been my favorite.
A video about my favorite transformation lol

SSj 1-4 are cool names
Super Saiyan to was definitely not forgotten
SSJ 2 Its probably my all time favourite transformation in DBZ
Rest in peace Akira you are one of my heroes. Created many things I hold dearly to my heart and played a huge role in my life. Super Saiyan 2 is the new super Saiyan even Goku tells kefla to strive for it. It has more power without the stamina drain so basically none of the down sides of super Saiyan.
Dude Akira passed away there won't be anymore
