Lived on the Flathead near Woods Bay on the point. Been here many times. It's beautiful. Thank you for this video. It brings back a lot of memories.
Nature at its best wild and free.

This is fantastic video, lucky to have captured this.
What an amazing place.
I love horses
what beautiful creatures thts so cool
first i thought it was an old documentary ahahhahaha. Anyway good video
Beautiful. I wish all horses could go wild = free.
***** What is free to them?
Eugene Thunder, free means, that they can interact socially with their own kind in a non-human regulated area and without people trying to sit on their backs, put harness on them and/or determine when, what or not to eat, do, sleep, etc. The very same things all other living creatures wouldn't like.
I know what you mean but that idea is unfortunately very unrealistic. Horses are very dependable of human care, won't last long alone.
Would you ask for freedom for a dogs too, they have rights to be free as well.
With respect
Millions of dogs live relatively free (people call it stray) in many countries and doing just fine. Horses lived for over 100.000 years without humans and would/could so if left alone even here on the continental US (see NV, UT). The domestication of animals doesn't mean they depend on humans. Humans depend on domesticated animals, not the other way around. The sad thing is, it's not a symbiotic relationship, but rather I see very similar patterns to slavery and fascism (seeing animals/other species as of lesser value/things/products rather than respecting the boundaries of living beings.
awesome wildlife clip you have Brilliant
I grew up just north of Flathead Lake, but never went to wild horse island. I guess I should have. And I don't remember it being that big. But it was a long time ago.
