Looks like a Casio you'd get for 100$. There are much nicer chronographs for 200$ or just a bit more.and then there are the usual qc issues. If they can't guarantee good quality control on 1000$ watches how would they on a 200$ watch. But hey, it's Seiko so it's ok 😆
@@AndySmith4501 Easy. There are several Citizen Chronographs I'd chose over this Seiko with similar specs. But that's because I think it looks cheap and the qc is bad. You can't deny they're terrible at it.
For my taste I'd like just SS case and the dial in a slate gray color with some ice blue accents and ice blue chrono minute- seconds hands. I love vk 63 own two watches with vk60 family third is on the way. I prefet Seiko vk watches to my only hand wound mechanical chrono for a simple reason it is a mech chrono with quartz precision. To bad Seiko never made a higher grade of mechaquartz movements, would love to see more accurate seconds hand that hits better markings. And a one that does not move the minute hand forward a bit after the chrono has been reseted. A trully nice watch with a Seiko's name on it. Hopefully Seiko gets to it's roots and starts to deliver watches for the people like this one. We do not need swiss prices and average quality watches. Therefore have we Swatch and Co. We need again value from Seiko. We need Seiko to be like Citizen again. Best bang for the buck.
I just bought a Pagani Speedmaster . Same movement, sapphire, well executed for $75. It’s got terrible lume, but otherwise, I quite like it! This is a nice looking watch though, and it’s unique enough not to be a straight homage.

Despite my hatred of the VK-63 with its useless 24 hour subdial, I'm intrigued by this watch. Great review. 100 times better than that abomination MoonSwatch.

You can usually adjust the Chronograph hand - from memory, you pull out the main crown and then use the timing pushers to adjust?
