@@8mm_base885 ever since they gave us that wolf rules and character extra cards on the site I've been wanting the wolf figures to play test that map they also released for the frozen quest line.. so happy the wolf was in this set also I think it was called radiant something gencon 2022
Mine got delivered two days ago - I was pleasantly surprised it arrived so early. The female miniature is actually Sinestra, the Archmage who is the main antagonist in this expansion. Also, those are Orgres, not Orcs. Looking forward to trying out the quests. Like The Frozen Horror, this expansion was not available here in the UK back in the 1990s.
Ah that’s why I don’t remember the frozen expansion, I have all the other originals from the 90s, i am going to be painting all mine up before I play 😃

@@Hawksearcher I suspect you and I are on the same page but in different books. I think you will find much more accurate parallels and mysteries revealed through Warhammer than the D&D. I know D&D has more details on maghic systems, and that is actually relevant to the problem. Being "based" means being based on truths. Warhammer is based because it is more allegorical AND still explains maghic, but in a more corruption-risking perspective. So which "fantasy" setting overlaps our reality best... that based on classic/high fantasy, or this new age scat where everyone can be a hero by being a rogue, lying sorceror, or thief by defeating some irrelevant monster? Our ancestors taught us myths for the lessons, not just cheap entertainment.
Ps, using "maghic" spelling intentionally. PIE word base for power as opposed to those associated with oathbreaking, wiccecraft, and necro-scat. It's really cool when you find the connections between our real ancients and those we consider legendary myths. This goes for runes, elves, dwarves, giants, etc., but the D&D "fantasy" facillitatates sympathy for half-orc abominations, playing as dragonborn humanoids, and other nonsense. We actually live in a world controlled by evil sorcerors that use dragons to scare us into submission. D&D is metapropaganda controlled by the sorcerors to mislead our brethren into illusions to nullify your resistance.
