Filipino American here. My experience visiting the Philippines in 2016, the 1st thing I noticed when landing in the airport is a big sign "It's more fun in the Philippines." I was there for 2 &1/2 weeks, and the experience I had in the short vacation changed my outlook in life for the good. Went back in 2018 in a different province, and really felt the beauty and nature of the Philippines. I really learned more about myself on this trip, that you can make life simple filled with positivity, and you don't need to keep up with the Jones's. Was planning to go back in 2020, but Covid happened. Hopefully end of 2020 or early 2021, the country opens up. The term it's more fun in the Philippines is true, but I would say it's more of "a journey that teaches you a lot, and you experience a lot more than what you've expected."

A foreigner visiting or even staying in the Philippines for an extended stay will NEVER have a sense of permanent despair while living in the Philippines. Hi Jessica your Vlogs are really touching…as a filipino i Love how you guys appreciate our country.,..keep on sharing a positive vibes to everyone…fighting…
Really enjoyed hearing your experiences in the Philippines. I’m Filipino but living in the United States and hearing your stories makes me want to go back home. So sorry to hear about everyone’s experiences of being bullied in there. I’ve also experienced that. I’m taller than average, light skinned and have slanted eyes so people thought I was Chinese. Anyway, glad I found your channel. I’m looking forward to your future vlogs. Keep it up.
We Filipinos should respect them. Even though we experienced being bullied or what in their country. We are all human so, we should respect each other and spread kindness.
It’s the people hospitality and the resiliency of the Filipinos that makes the country love by foreigners. The sights are just secondary and I’m thankful and honored by your love and respect for the Philippines and wish someday you’ll get back there and create more good memories.
Soobin: Human connection If you live in Korea and in the Ph for a long time then you'll understand what she means. Also you guys may look like korean or speaks korean but I can feel that you guys are have a filipino heart. I enjoyed this vlog so much.
This interview brings nostalgia to me. I miss my korean people too. They would sometimes call and tell me how much they want to come back to the Ph. And mention all the food they want to eat. This interview is so warm and it brings positive vibe. Keep it up!
Aaawww, I hope you all could go back there and everything goes back to normal so we can all move around again. Keep applying Jessica, there are lots of other really good Uni’s in the PH. And when you’re finally able to go back for school, do some travel vlogs with the girls. 😉💕

So sorry for those traumatizing experiences you guys had experienced, one or few person doesn't make the whole race bad..... there's just those people who are ignorant about beautiful ethnicity around the world, and sometimes you get to meet people that cannot express beauty that's why they would appreciate(?) in a way they know or the way they were brought up....still im sorry for that.

This video made me love the Philippines more. Some of the Filipinos does not want to live Philippines anymore. But this video made me realised that Philippines is one of the best country. We love you ate Jessica ❤️
The word "bully" just fabricated by the liberals. I am an old school guy and every single one of us been "teased" by classmate (girls or boys). It's something you can tell a story when everything said and done. Its fun, friendship and memorable.
Though I love korea because of Blackpink and bts. Im still a filipino with a filipino heart and i will never replace Philippines in my heart. Thank you so much ate jessica, ate ely, ate lia and ate soobin (not sure bout the spelling)for loving Philippines .
It's nice to know that our fellow Filipinos are open and welcome to accept non-native people who move to our country. I think non-native Pinoys just like them are considered Filipinos too, especially those who were born and lived their whole lives in the country. It's nice that Jessica gives the Filipino-Korean community representation in this channel.
I really wanted to have a korean friend like you guys, Why? Because I know how much you appreciate the Philippines and Filipinos. I can feel the real "kababayan" vibe with you than "other/some" filipinos. And we have almost the same age generation. I'm a 22 y.o filipina. I hope, I can be one of your friend even if it's just "virtual" friend🥺🤍 More power Jessica!♥️
As a Filipino citizen, I sincerely apologize to all of you who experienced bullying and racist remarks. I honestly want to blame lack of education, cultural difference, and ignorance as the causes, but there's really no excuse for bullying and racism. There are people like us who love koreans (and other people from different nationalities and races). We love you girls! 😊 thank you for liking our country despite your negative experiences. ❤️
I am very hopeful for you all - the young generation. The world is really getting smaller, and hopefully, people are getting more connected. When I left the Philippines in 2000 to move permanently to US, I wasn't at all aware of the Korean population. I guess some Korean businessmen ventured the Philippines the beginning of the new millennium. It's very interesting the connection thru food, music and culture. I hope that after the pandemic, you ladies can go back to the Philippines. It's also my wish as I last visited my family in 2019.
It's very heartwarming to hear you Koreans loving to go back to the Philippines or even considering it your second home when most of the world wish to go to Korea or have a taste of Korea ever since it's taken the world by storm. Great content, Jessica. I wish you more success.

ONE THING I NOTICED ABOUT THE KOREANS WHO LIVED AND STUDIED IN THE PHILIPPINES IS THEY ARE JOYFUL, OPEN MINDED AND SO MUCH HOPEFUL ON THEIR OUTLOOK IN LIFE AND VERY INTELLIGENT AND SMART.
I'm a Filipino. This is really a good topic. I really like to hear your story about your bad experience here in the Philippines. It's very important to hear those things you know because it's open up a discussion that even Philippines is known for its kind, full of love people. There's a people here that makes a bad thing like being racist or something. I hate to think that many Filipino are like that. I'm very sorry for you guys to experiencing that here in the Philippines. I hope many people will see your videos to make a change that there's no room for racism not only in our country but the entire world. I really felt that you have a heart of Filipino. Thank you so much for loving the Philippines, my country and YOUR country.
Really eye opening for me, I know bullying exists everywhere but for some reason I really hate when asians bully other asians with racist jokes. Also I didn't think the smaller stuff would really stand out as a memorable experience for foreigners living here. Good thing I was really close with my korean friends in high school, I was their commanding officer during our C.A.T. days. We never really talked about like were from different cultures we just interact like normal teenagers back then. Was really glad we showed them love through their stay and helped them prepare for the real military experience in Korea.
I like this format. Filipino Mukbang with them (+Syl and Moy) would be awesome. But really thank you for appreciating and bridging Filipino culture with Korean culture. Also, yeah Filipino teachers are one of a kind.
See u all back in the Philippines. And hope Jessica will take another entrance exam in Ateneo it's nice and good to study there I know because my niece studied her senior high in Ateneo as a scholar student before she transferred to U. P.. You can do it. Keep safe all of you and God bless.
Nice sharing of stories. Hoping for the borders to open again soon, also in the provinces here its not easy to go home unlike before. Family and Home ❤️🇵🇭
I am glad that your years spent in the Philippines are mostly filled with happy memories. Although, there are some who are not, majority of the Filipinos really have a good heart and would always give a warm smile no matter if you just met for the first time or not. Our hearts truly is richer than our pockets!
I'm a ESL Teacher and I teach Korean students, too. Watching this vlog made me happy and at the same time miss the good old days with my students. I hope this pandemic end soon so we can enjoy again our lives and continue our plans that were put on hold.
I remember happening to listen to friends in a bus talking about a Korean classmate/friend (I was just in front of them). One of them said that the Korean classmate like it here because he can fully express himself as gay unlike what his life would be in Korea.
It's always heartwarming when you see foreigners appreciate your country. More so if they've somehow grown attached to it and consider it their second home. Thank you Jessica for such a heartwarming content ❤
It hurts to know you experienced those stereotypes in the Philippines, but I'm not surprised. I know what that feels like, as a Filipina growing up in the US. I'm glad to hear that it did not make you despise the Filipinos or the Philippines in its entirety. I absolutely LOVE listening to these stories.
Watching you guys gives me that typical Filipino conversation. I guess that's the effect of being immersed with our culture. Thank you for loving the PH.
I was in Taegu, Korea for a year on my remote assignment in USAF. I had a great time and loved it there. Filipinos and Koreans have great, genuine affection for each other in my opinion, except basketball. In my case only good memories and sometimes sorrow for the loved one I lost.
Jessica, i also love this video of yours, how you & your Korean friends love the Philippines so much, and how your longing in your hearts to come back to the Philippines soon...
I really enjoyed this video. It made me smile and happy hearing all the positive and kind things you guys had to say about the Philippines. It's nice knowing there are foreigners out there who love the Philippines enough to consider it their 2nd home. It's a shame about your experiences with racism and bullying though. I feel so bad, i'm sorry you guys went through that, some people are just so ignorant and insensitive... But I'm glad the positives outweigh the negatives of your life experiences in the Philippines! Thanks for sharing them with us! I'm looking forward to the next video. Btw, you guys are really pretty! :)
I always love when foreigners mentioned Philippines like "Philippines is my second home" , "I love Philippines and the Filipinos" and "Filipinos were really kind"💖💖 Also when I meet a Korean , she told me that "I wanna go to Cebu" and "I want to live in Cebu"💖 how nice , isn't?

It’s the people hospitality and the resiliency of the Filipinos that makes the country love by foreigners. The sights are just secondary and I’m thankful and honored by your love and respect for the Philippines and wish someday you’ll get back there and create more good memories.
Soobin: Human connection
If you live in Korea and in the Ph for a long time then you'll understand what she means.
Hello! Thank you for loving our country. 🤗🤗🤗
Before K-pop and K-drama blossom here in PH, I have 2 Korean classmates in my college years and I really admire their bravery and confidence to study here in PH. i love talking to them but we have different majors and they back to Korea now. keep on vlogging.
I really love watching your videos, I'm half Filipino and I don't have the connection you have with PHP and I find it really awesome how much you love it there.
Jessica you look good and stunning!! I think hosting would fit you really well. I hope I could get back to my old self and get the shape I really wanted.
Also I appreciate your friends for embracing Philippines as their second home.
The atmosphere was chill, the ladies are sincere and experiences genuine. You all did a wonderful job. I hope you guys have become closer bec of your common background. It would be nice to see you do travel vlogs pag uwi nyo sa Pilipinas, all 4 together. Ingat lagi
as a filipino living abroad and weren't able tp go home for a year and a half now coz of the pandemic. I feel you guys. Makes me tear up too! thank you for loving the philippines and the friends you made and considering philippines as your HOME. ❤️
So sorry for those traumatizing experiences you guys had experienced, one or few person doesn't make the whole race bad..... there's just those people who are ignorant about beautiful ethnicity around the world, and sometimes you get to meet people that cannot express beauty that's why they would appreciate(?) in a way they know or the way they were brought up....still im sorry for that.
they did acknowledge later on in the video that the problem is universal not just in pinas...very mature of them i think, as the "trauma" was overshadowed by all things endearing naman👍
lol im a filipino and i even had my share of getting bullied at school when i was young. lol
@@Raptor767 me too, i used to walk home with a bloody nose, a swollen face or blood oozing my head. It taught me so much to be tough in a good way and be successful in life, now im living a good life abroad and when someone reminde of those people who bullied me, i just smiled with pity bcoz they never left their level of existence in life, some of them were in jail, some are probably 6 feet under the ground ...🙂
@@allanmarqueses2708 Good for you buddy.
Can't wait to see all here in the philippines...
It's nice because I adore both Filipinos and Koreans, and it's also interesting because there are Koreans who adore the Philippines. Liah, Ely and Soobin filipinos love youuu too heartuhh
I wonder if I could also go back there.. I miss my family. I remembered we had to cancel our ticket last year because of the pandemic. It saddens me more that i was not there when may grandma passed away. 😔 wish I can go back as soon as everything gets okay.
i think liah saying the "orange mayo thing" is the sawsawan sa cheese stick.. thats - Mayo mixed with Ketchup~ 💖💖💖
good with french fries too. hehe
I can relate to this. I lived just 2 years of my child hood in Indonesia and I visited in 2017. But I have very good memories of it. The ambiance, food, experiences and etc.
10:17 although she said it casually, this hit me differently. 😢
This video made me love the Philippines more. Some of the Filipinos does not want to live Philippines anymore. But this video made me realised that Philippines is one of the best country. We love you ate Jessica ❤️
thats not true... they always go back and want to go back home... dont say like that to Filipinos you do not know what they really feels.

its the government that I hate not the country
Koreans but a Filipino heart.😁
All Filipinos had bullied experience, even me. Hahaha. It's normal especially grade school and high school days. Heehhe
The word "bully" just fabricated by the liberals. I am an old school guy and every single one of us been "teased" by classmate (girls or boys). It's something you can tell a story when everything said and done. Its fun, friendship and memorable.
But mostly in Gradeschool
Though I love korea because of Blackpink and bts. Im still a filipino with a filipino heart and i will never replace Philippines in my heart. Thank you so much ate jessica, ate ely, ate lia and ate soobin (not sure bout the spelling)for loving Philippines .
It's nice to know that our fellow Filipinos are open and welcome to accept non-native people who move to our country. I think non-native Pinoys just like them are considered Filipinos too, especially those who were born and lived their whole lives in the country. It's nice that Jessica gives the Filipino-Korean community representation in this channel.
Oh my you are beautiful! !
Im a Filipino born in the Philippines and been a US citizen and retiring to the Philippines
I remember soobin in your past vlog. You two are in BGC just chilling.Shes more become beautiful.

I really wanted to have a korean friend like you guys, Why? Because I know how much you appreciate the Philippines and Filipinos. I can feel the real "kababayan" vibe with you than "other/some" filipinos.
And we have almost the same age generation. I'm a 22 y.o filipina. I hope, I can be one of your friend even if it's just "virtual" friend🥺🤍
More power Jessica!♥️
I watched and listened to your interactions and I am very happy that you love my country the Philippines inspite and despite of some bad experiences that you encountered. Jessica I watched some of your blogs and you are articulate and smart so dont feel bad that you did not make it to Ateneo or UP try other universities ...get good grades then transfer after one semester or else re apply. Dont stop Believing....believe in yourself. Good luck!
I love how Soobin likes tinola. Lol most of my pinoy friends hate it.
Relatable...the more I eat Tinola the hungrier I become?
Pork adobo is da best!
I like tinola specially native chicken.
Pay natikman ng mga korean ang native or texas panabong adobo man or tinola n my tanglad ewan ko nlng kung umalis pa kau s pinas
😂😂
parang same kasi sa samgyetang ng Korea
Jessica: I’m a recent subscriber to your channel. I love the content you post. Your reactions are so genuine and honest. You say exactly what is on your mind and appear very sincere. That’s what made me a subscriber to your channel.
I am wishing in the very near future that you will be able to return to the Philippines. As you know it is a very welcoming country, rich in culture, exotic food , beautiful places to visit and has many kind citizens. In the future, I would love to see new content and posts from from you from the Philippines if you’re able. Until then stay healthy and best wishes for an ever growing subscriber count. We love you ❤️👍🏻 and your friends on this episode are as kind and adorable as you. ❤️
..what I really love at this conversation is that they really feel the feeling of missing filipino way of life and they feel the connection to the people .❤💚💙💗💓
It’s a heart warming to know that even though you’re not a Filipino but you all love to stay in our country a BIG thanks girls … Me I love Korean TeleNovelas have lots of similarities in Pinoy TeleNovelas too …good luck to all of you and stay safe and healthy 💕😊🇯🇵🇵🇭🇰🇷
Was really glad we showed them love through their stay and helped them prepare for the real military experience in Korea.
thank you jessica ..pls visit PH as soon as posinle..hope this pandemic end real soon..keep safe
Ely being silence made her more adorable and so cute when she smiles ☺️
I like this format. Filipino Mukbang with them (+Syl and Moy) would be awesome. But really thank you for appreciating and bridging Filipino culture with Korean culture. Also, yeah Filipino teachers are one of a kind.
Alots of love from India 🇮🇳♥
4 beautiful Korean ladies with Filipino hearts ...
I'm a ESL Teacher and I teach Korean students, too. Watching this vlog made me happy and at the same time miss the good old days with my students. I hope this pandemic end soon so we can enjoy again our lives and continue our plans that were put on hold.
She's listening to her fans request 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love Yiruma “Kiss the rain” ❤️
I remember happening to listen to friends in a bus talking about a Korean classmate/friend (I was just in front of them). One of them said that the Korean classmate like it here because he can fully express himself as gay unlike what his life would be in Korea.
Thank you for loving my country. I so love to visit Korea aswell and makes good memories. Loving all my favorite Korean teleseryes....
It's always heartwarming when you see foreigners appreciate your country. More so if they've somehow grown attached to it and consider it their second home. Thank you Jessica for such a heartwarming content ❤
happy to see all of them. salamat at masaya kayo dito sa Pinas. more power. hope you guys come back. ingat
we love Korea too *as much as you love the Ph🇵🇭❤️🇰🇷
Exactly
Needless to say its pretty obvious how much i love them
Fili-Canadian here and awh you guys are so wholesome and genuine!! You guys lowkey made me want to go back home
They dont really care about the country

Thank you for appreciating our country .. thank you for the memory you shared with us .. welcome to the philippines .. make it your home ..
I always love when foreigners mentioned Philippines like "Philippines is my second home" , "I love Philippines and the Filipinos" and "Filipinos were really kind"💖💖
Also when I meet a Korean , she told me that "I wanna go to Cebu" and "I want to live in Cebu"💖 how nice , isn't?
