    I have helped so many racers with their Viking Double Adjustable shocks, I figured I should pay closer attention to the valving options. Especially the differences b/w the Warrior and Crusaders. This video focuses on the double adjustable shocks, not the triple adjustable shocks. I am a firm believer in Penske Racing Shocks, but I am very intrigued with the Viking Performance line of shocks. I have to give them credit, many of my customers run them very successfully and when I understand the valving in their shocks and I help them tune them, they respond very well at the track to the tuning for both slicks and radials.
    How many of you are running Viking shocks? Good experience, bad experience or neutral?

    Mike at viking is a good dude. Very helpful and knowledgable. He just helped me the other day pick out a set of front dbladj coil over for the front of my drag car.

    I have 15yr old Aldan's.Pre-Viking? Never used, on my 68 Camaro pro street build. QA1 single adjustable fronts. Chassis is in,now time for interior sheet metal,wheel tubs etc. Watching ever one of your shows for future reference. Thank you!

    Love the info. Would love to see info on radial shock setup with single adjustable shocks and how you can get them to work if that’s what you have. And recommendations for anti squat % and 4 link bar angles based on vehicle weights and horsepower for radials as well.

    Great Video, I have a question on my 72 Pontiac Ventura just put Viking crusader H L on the back and have stock shocks on the front, running low 10's pump gas pontiac.

    In my Ws6 I have afco doubles out back from madman and Viking doubles with k valving up front. Typical stock bore 5.3 deal with a billet 85 on it (on 275 pros)
    Just had started working the bugs out towards the end of last year but it’s looking like I should have plenty of shock. She gunna see 30lbs of boost this year so I’m about to find out!

      I could really use some help on no prep though. That I don’t have a clue on apparently because it’ll white smoke the tires at 70mph on 12lbs of boost lol

    Hi Mr Wilson, I’m awaiting arrival of the Viking warrior front coil overs. Vehicle is a 56 ford panel street rod with about 500 hp. 460 with aluminum heads and intake. Weight is about 4K with driver. For the best possible handling on street, should I just start in the middle and firm up compression/rebound?

      Real time weather is critical to my tuning... I use an actual weather reader for me at the track. It is a Kestrel device. Go fast, go straight! Be SAFE!

      @@KevinWilsonSBC What do you need? it is an old 306 cid bush series based chevy v-6 with 18 degree heads on nitrous. Cab has been moved back to close gap between bed and cab 1 1/4 inches as well as the engine. Back of cab, front of bed and floor of bed have been replaced with .063 diamond plate aluminum. Chromoly 8.50 cage. 275/60s radials /28" slicks on 10" rear wheels. kirky alum. seats, dash shell with gauge panel, heat /def. deleted . Frame horns were cut back to relocate bumper (fiberglass) in correct location and core support is small tube construction Est. weight is around 2200 lbs. with about 800 RWHP. mono leaves rear springs, QA1 front control arms with 1" longer upper ball joints. 350 lbs. rate front coil overs by viking are being considered with rear viking shocks. if you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated. Comp. eng. slide-a-links, rear slider, and anti roll bar are in place already of course. Oh and lexan windows.

    Thank you so much for your video series, they have helped me a ton! I have a tube chassis, big tire, 4 link, 605hp bracket car with a low and long instant center. IC is about 6 inches off the ground and about 6 inches behind the front tire. Why when I watch the slow mo video of the launch does it show separation? Also how do I know if I set the rebound too soft on the rear shock? Thanks again!
