Great to see you guys again. That boat runs really darn well for a pair of 380 motors and not very expensive batteries. Before upgrading it remember, Better is the enemy of Good!
Hi Frank I know this vid is a little old but it is good to know how it runs stock my question is I want to upgrade this to x2 xk3674 -2200 KV motors and x2 turnigy 180 amp esc and x2 turnigy graphene 3s 4000mah 65c lipo any prop suggestion thanks
QuikDrawMcDraw 227 the Apparition hull doesn't have a lot of room inside so it would be a challenge getting everything to fit. Another issue I see is the extra weigh will most likely kill the handling performance as it already feels on the heavy side in the turns with the stock setup. Not saying it couldn't be done but you would probably be better off with a larger hull. I did think about upgrading the 28mm motors to some higher kv ones but no longer own this boat. The stock props work well with the 28mm motor but if you go up to 36mm I would start with a pair of Qctura X442 counter rotating props.
