MMA 2022, they performed uncensored version of Tomboy live. Mind blowing.

The lead singer of AC/DC passed away unexpectedly. The remaining members of AC/DC considered disbanding the band, but at the funeral, Bon Scott's parents insisted that they continue the band. They finally decided to move on and later released Best selling album 《Back in Black》.
(G)I-DLE lost Soojin in 2021, and the group also terminated activities. Many people thought that (G)I-DLE would disband, but later Soyeon used the lyrics from AC\DC's 《Back in Black》 album: "Forget the hearse 'cause I never die" as a reference, the album《I Never Die》was produced, becoming (G)I-DLE's most important album.
You should definitely react to their Tomboy performance at MMA 2022, the remix is insane and so is the stage, you won't be disappointed !
One of my absolute favourite.
I love them. The juxtaposition of the girlie set and the lyrics and actions are just great.
soyeon the leader of the group, she also makes the concepts for their comebacks besides writing and producing the songs, and when i say concept everything from the story of the song n mv to the outfits and sets and hairstyles and makeup she has input in everything so the outfits referencing nirvana, acdc..etc might've been her idea..
this is the song that made me fall irrevocably in love with this group, and Yuqi in particular

Well, that makes 2 out of 3 of my favorite female k-pop groups that you've become a fan of. 😁 You've seen most of Mamamoo's MVs, and there's still about a half dozen more great G-Idle MV for you to see (Seniorita, Dumdi Dumdi, I Do, etc.). That just leaves Dreamcatcher, and if you ever start down that road, be prepared. They have a TON of lore and their MV are almost as deep as BTS, and about on par with ATEEZ as far as there being hidden meaning in nearly every little detail.
I look forward to you discovering even more of Mamamoo and G-Idle, and possibly your future Dreamcatcher journey, and thanks to you for introducing me to several artists and groups I hadn't known and are quickly adding to my list of favorites. ❤

G-IDLE is freaking amazing
there was a mexican fashion designer who send his pieces to YG to be used for Blackpink, they were meant to appear in their virtual concert The Show and got delayed, but eventually they were used in the Lalisa MV, and other groups if i'm not mistaken. Maybe it's the same designer who was chosen for this or they were inspired for his designs to be used in other groups.
The buildup that you liked was Yuqi and Minnie together. If you liked that I would recommend checking out "Everytime" from Yuqi's new album. Minnie features on it, and they have some really nice harmonies.
Soyeon's amazing at writing tracks.
I think you'd really enjoy Put it Straight. There's two versions: the original and the nightmare version. I'd be awesome if you could watch both and see how they compare. Put it straight (nightmare) also has a great queendom performance (be sure to watch the "full" version as the other one has interruptions for other groups reacting to it)

I suspect that soloist AleXa kicked off the aesthetic with her debut in 2019 with "Bomb" and "Do or Die", because, as an American, she genuinely knows the groups. While AleXa isn't the most popular artist in SK, I think a lot of industry insiders watch her very closely, and crib her style; there's no way she can be so perfectly on top of every Korean idol fashion trend unless she's _setting_ the trend! Blackpink's Lisa, when she went solo a year later, had that amazing jacket (featuring KISS and others) in "Lalisa", and other spunky independent girlcrush types followed suit.
Thats some of the most deluded bullshit I have read in a while.
