@@HalfLifeSistah I know, I'm the same way!! I find Amy unique in that she's able to make you feel what she's feeling, and I don't know many artists that can do that. Definitely one of the most beautiful song ever written. You should check out Even In Death from the Lost Whispers album. That song always makes me cry 😭

It’s hard to come back to reality after hearing this song. I literally cried like a baby for years each time I heard it. The emotional roller coaster of the singing, the sound, the instruments and the meaning of the song, especially coupled with the video once it was released was just TOO MUCH!
I’ve always loved her so so much since I was a teen, always drawn to the feeling in each song as they weren’t just words.
The musical and influential direction the band had turned to these days; I’m sad to say I’m not a fan of.

I'm so glad WolfKain had you listen to it again. It takes real integrity to admit your initial reaction was erroneous in a way. But, I do agree with your conclusion that Amy's voice is much more potent when one is able to hear her well, like on piano only songs - which is why I'll recommend few of my favorites, to listen to when you have time. Breath No More, Even In Death 2016, The Last Song I'm Wasting On You... for starters 😁😍

Amy Lee wrote that song about her little sister that passed away. When she was 6 years old and in school she was given the terrible news of her sisters death and the song reflected on how she was coping with it as a child. Amy Lee is someone I hold very dear to my heart. That song and the song Like You are both about her sister and I gaurentee you once you hear the songs, you would be affected by it.
