Our aim was to capture and preserve memories from various life events. This is the origin of the name "Z Roll," inspired by "B-Roll," a term rooted in the early days of film editing. Back then, editors incorporated supplementary footage, or B-roll, alongside the main content. As a result, we named our UA-cam Channel "Our Z Roll," symbolizing the B-roll of our life. Given that Zachman is our last name, "Our Z Roll" holds special significance!

I try to get up sometime between 5 & 6. Recently it has been easier because our church has been doing 21 Days of Prayer and so I have been getting up to participate in the service online (6am) and my husband goes in person. So, that has created a good habit. There is something about getting up before everyone else…helps me have a better day.
Thanks for the journey across the state! I've been working to get up at half five. Which involved a week of 5:50 and rolling the alarm back five minutes. When you mentioned something to remind you of the gifts of the spirit, you could have a craft moment to make a personalised item. Like a bracelet with beads either with letters or colours that you associate with the gifts you can have that reminder on you that's your connection. Just a small token that's your connection and reminder.
Right there with you on the minimum of 10 000 steps per day! Started that 2 years ago when I switched to work from home! Best change I ever made! It’s my #1 priority everyday!
I have pressed snooze maybe twice in my whole life lol! I hate doing it, I have to get up and go when that alarm goes off. I am glad you guys got to get away for a night and have a great date night and some fun! It is so important in a marriage to have that quality time often. Have a great rest of your week!

Loved this! I needed some inspiration before my kids go back to school (in NY we don’t go back till sept). I know you guys love coffee. I used to be a coffee addict, but I cut it out about 10 years ago & it has forced me to go to bed earlier because I know I need the sleep. It’s also forced me to get my water intake… great vlog!
I set my alarm to the the exact time I need to wake up. Snoozing isn't good sleep, so I sleep all the way until the minute I have to wake up!
It seems like the best talks between husband and wife are in the car! It is certainly true of my husband and I!!

Ps I have never needed an alarm in my 53 years. If I need to wake up, I just wake up. Not a flex at all cuz I don’t sleep for more than 4 hours at a time!!!

Not sure if this is what you’re referring to when you talk about having coffee later in the day, but your body produces a lot of cortisol in the morning to help you wake up. When your cortisol is high, caffeine doesn’t do much for you so it’s better to save it for when it’s actually useful. With waking up between 5:30-6:30, I aim to have my coffee between 9:30-11
I purposely set up two alarms. One 15 minute warning and one actual alarm.
Have you read indescribable from Louie Giglio? It’s a great devotional for the whole family.
I skip the snooze, I set an alarm every 5-10 minutes from 4:45-7......I have to login my work computer (work from home) at 7, but I like to shower before work so I prefer to be up at 6 to not feel rushed.....but I have different alarm tones on when I need to start to wake and every few minutes to start waking, prefer to get in the shower, get in the shower now, if you don't shower now you can't.....and then every 5 minutes until I absolutely must login for work.
Ok I snooze 😴 3-4 times with added time to wake up.
Write the fruits of the spirit on your bathroom mirror with dry erase marker. No harm.

I use my iPhone as my alarm clock and set it without a snooze button. Getting up to an alarm is miserable for me, hearing it more than once per morning is awful!
