Pioneer seriously never fails to impress me. Pretty much everything catering to DJs that comes out of them is a perfect example of how equipment SHOULD be. That said, I really need to pick one of these up.
i actually just got cdj400's n am thinking this woulda been a better buy now... as i was looking to get a new mixer also. only things i can fault traktor for is not allowing the 2 waveforms to go side by side and the tempo match lines feature serato has.. if they did that id switch in a heartbeat.. looks a great product! thanks
@Assrash23 it's the jog wheels on the vms4, there small in diameter maybe 4 1/2 inches. And to load tracks from either the touch pad or the controller knobs you need two hands to do so. One hold the shift button and the other to turn and push the knob. Even with the Needle Drop (vms4 uses touch strips also) but you need to hold down the shift button to use them. Maybe i need to do a side by side to be sure if the T1 is good enough
@tranjohn the crossfader scratched the lines on mine as well, i called american audio told them about it, they asked for a picture of the scratches on the fader plate done by the crossfader. They sent a new fader plate and all. It was a know issue that what i was getting from the care rep. He ask if the fader was bent or the knob was pushed down. That seem to be a packaging issue when they are boxed.
@jhenry248 i also used to have the vms4 but sold it for the v7's and i think the build quality is pretty bad! When i first got it one of the up faders wasn't aligned properly so i had to bend it into place and also the knob infos gets scratched very easily especially where the faders and the pitch bend is
i just got this DDJ T1 its grate only thing is that the tempo fader its not that grate, and the sound quality is not that grate, how could i fix the sound to make it sound like in your video
@Mario2011P for house electro techno and so on the t1 is better, cause of the efx and software, but for hip hop, soul, and so on the s1 one is the best solution. hope this helps ;) cheers

@baysickbeatz yea if your laptop crashes for some reason you can use an ipod via aux and play thru that.
Are you planning on doing a demo of the Denon DN MC6000?
@DubstepTechnoDnB It' a store, they already have those in stock the just use their demo
@hmproductions1224 Not this Controller, this is the DDJ-T1, if you look at the DDJ-S1, it's for serato itch

how do they work with Traktor's Sample Deck Mode?...can you do a video or direct to a video that is illustrating how to? Great vid btw :)
@sainifabulous Yeah, from what I can see it's essentially the same thing, just with two decks and a VU meter. I could be wrong, though.
@hmproductions1224 No, it's designed to work with Traktor
is the s1 pretty similar but just a Serato version?
i just got this DDJ T1 its grate only thing is that the tempo fader its not that grate, and the sound quality is not that grate, how could i fix the sound to make it sound like in your video

hey just got this controller but I don't really know how to upgrade to the Traktor edition 2
I'm a bedroom DJ, DDJ-T1 is nice, would considering trading in my VMS4 and upgrading to the DDJ-T1.
@hmproductions1224 they made one for traktor and one for serato..DDJ S-1 is for Serator..T-1 is traktor..
@rajkumarthakur1 Yes, you can cue to headphones.
@DubstepTechnoDnB They do it for free but it's a big publicity for their store
Can i use DDJ-T1 with Traktor PRO 2?
DDJ T1 or CDJ 2000 which is better?
