Dang, DeWalt was nice and gave you guys the actual 100W charger that was originally shown in the promotional material. Here in the States we get a 65W charger in the kit :(
Well-done. A couple notes: There are some laptops that now have a matching circuit in their AC adapters which check to see if the AC adapter was made by the laptop OEM. If not, it will not charge. Yes, I know how stupid that is.
I just wanted to say thanks for this video, I wanted to know if I could use this in my tractor or pickup to charge a battery for my impact, but this is the first place that showed it with other chargers
FYI the 4AH flat battery are not pouch cells. But rather the larger 21700 cells. 5 of them. VS the "normal" 5AH battery has 10 of thr normal 18650's in them. These newer flat batteries with only 5 cells are popilar but they are quite a bit bigger around but just not as tall. The power stack has been out for quite some time now in the US and those are pouch cells.... they have LESS capacity (base model is only 1.3AH) but pack a punch with more amperage so hence, better performance!
Yeah, I know the 4ah is cylindrical cells, but for carrying around it's the best size/weight ratio at the moment. As for pouch cells what I was talking about is that there's maybe a 5ah Powerstack coming in October as well as the current 1.7ah (DCBP034).
The reason your original charger is so much smaller is, it's not 100w. They claim to be but usually only output 45w. I have yet to find a cheap charger that was actually capable of the claimed output

This is how you review any USB-C device. Excellent!
Thank you. I appreciate you being so detailed on this. Currently, this is the best review for this product on UA-cam. Thanks again.

Much better than other reviews. Actually tells me what it does. Also funny. :-)

Great Video, what do you use for solar powering it?
What would you estimate the number of notebook battery charges to be per pint of beer at? I ask purely for logistical planning purposes of course.

I have a RavPower 90W that’s about the size of the Anker. Just over 1” and 3/4” thick
Nice review! Thanks!
Where did you find this with a UK plug, I can only find American style, thanks for the content btw, very helpful.
I think a lot of places in the UK are using the wrong photos of it.
