- My friend bought a 2006 SRT-8 Charger with 20,000 miles on it. A one owner vehicle that's been garaged every winter and maintained through dodge its entire life, it is in immaculate condition. Congrats Scott! Another Mopar to add to the channel.

Currently looking at 06-2010 SRT8's myself. I don't think I've ever seen that color SRT8 on the street. That thing is GORGEOUS. Definitely leave the wheels as is.

I love my 2013 Charger SRT. Bought mine back in June 2017 with 23,730 miles on it. Only had 1 owner. Now it has 28,233 miles.
Because of your video I now like that model year SRT Thanks for posting now I'm going to keep my 2012 charger when I was so ready to get a new version

@@trikcam Bought the car at 106k miles for $9,500. That was back in May. Now it has 111k miles and runs great. Very well maintained car and only had 2 owners. Since then i've put SLP Loudmouth exhaust on it.
@@SRTBOAT Still happy about it? I though about getting on but there not easy to come by here in Sweden and I did here some bad stuff about its engine. Thinking about a Mustang instead

I have a 2018 Scatpack I love it, but I have always been drawn to this srt8. I think what did it for me was Fast 5 the money vault scenes. Those blacked chargers i feel in love with. I think with the right timing ill get one with low miles and still have my Scatpack. Besides I have been told that engine you can do more with

That color is sexy. I don’t think I ever saw one in that color. Usually I see mostly black ones and my friend owned a red one that I got to drive for a month. I gave him my 2008 bmw 550i for a month and he gave me his srt8. I loved the sound when the car would get into higher rpms... like 4k rpm and up was an insane sound with stock exhaust and intake. In late 2014 i ended up getting the new 2015 Dodge Charger as a daily... unfortunately it was an RT and I got it fully loaded which had a sticker price of $41k. I regretted it because I didn’t need all those options it had... I could of got a scat pack instead for that money and I had a nightmare experience with the cars reliability and the service from dealer sucked so I got rid of it after 18 months of frustration. One of the big things that pissed me off was the AC never worked properly from day one and it was never fixed with 4 trips to the dealer. Only 2 vents blew cold air and the rest had hot air coming out so my summers were brutal. The proper fix from what I heard is to take the dashboard apart but i guess the dealer never wanted to do that so I was stuck. Also my starter went out twice,once at 12k miles and then again at 25k miles.
Maybe it was because it was the first year of that body style 3rd gen I believe. It came with the 8 speed auto which was pretty good atleast

These first gen LX Chargers were and still are very polarizing when it comes to looks; you either love it, or hate it. The design has aged very well, with these looking just as aggressive as ever. The ONLY sore spot with these is that they were a victim of early 00's DaimlerChrysler cost-cutting; they choose to make the cuts inside, the interior. But that is the ONLY shortcoming of this magnificent automobile.
I own a 06 SRT-8 Scatpack Heritage Edition with 130K miles, still runs beautiful!

Arnulfo Tapia Hey there current owner of a 08 R/T and 06 SRT8 I can say that the only real problem I’ve had is an issue with it starting to over hear but that might have been something that I caused other than that everything has been fine

It depends how you drive .. Im averaging 12.5 MPG right now and run 93 into it, but you dont buy a SRT to save gas ! I usually drive pretty normal, and its not my daily so.

Honestly, If im not with my friends and doing crazy stuff, its really not bad on gas at all, I daily it sometimes, i commute 20 miles total a day to work and back. Its been 11 months and I put 15,000 miles on it, mostly ALL to car shows, other than that, I really dont spend much on gas (93). Even when youre not at a car show though, some of the looks you get .. makes it all worth it !
