Hey! We want to hear what you think about sharks! Growing up in Michigan I definitely had a lot of apprehension on my first shark dives, mostly because of my lack and knowledge and understanding. Once I opened up and let go of that fear, I fell in love. Did you know without sharks the ocean’s ecosystems would collapse? They are essential to a healthy ocean and reef system, far more than most of us know. WE love sharks, and we hope this video inspires you to learn more about them and open your heart to these beautifully powerful predators. *If you are scared of them just think about this - on average humans kill over 100 million sharks PER YEAR - mostly targeted by commercial fisherman for their fins and flesh. Sharks on the other hand kill ~ 6 people per year, less than 4 times the amount of people killed by vending machines (and you thought vending machines were safe). Drop a comment below!
What an experience! I feel Like sharks get a bad reputation but they are such a precious resource to our oceans. I feel like videos like this help people to see how beautiful they can be when treated responsibly. Thank you for sharing!
You totally should! It is honestly my favorite place in the world. The best therapy! If you have any questions let us know, Adam is an Instructor and I am a Divemaster.
Thanks Don!!! They are very beautiful and powerful and elegant all rolled into one! We really appreciate you and the support...the kiss was a bonus for sure!
Thanks for your comment! We have been on dives with sharks many many times and have never had even a slight close call - that being said, there is always inherent risk when diving with wild animals.
Yesss that's our whole mission - to inspire! We went with Miguel who owns Tolok Divers in Puerto Morelos, you can find him on Instagram and Facebook. Professional, affordable, and treats you like family.
Um wow - there is absolutely no way I would get in with a bull shark. They are the scariest shark in the ocean. You guys are so bloody brave.... well done
It was actually very cool and the sharks were very docile. When people are not feeding them they are usually very calm. They did follow us all the way back to the boat though. I guess I look delicious! It was the giant remoras that kept nipping at us though. That was a little freaky!
It’s such a cool experience. In highly recommend it. We feel like underwater is one one of the best ways to experience nature up close and personal! And if bull sharks are too much to start there are lots of other sharks you can dive with too! This was a great dive though so if your in the area. Just do it! Tolok divers was really good too if you need a dive operator! Best fishes!
It was a very special day. Sharks such an incredible animal especially to experience up close like that! Thank you so much for watching and stay tuned for more fun adventures with us!
@@TheCountryCollectors I can imagine. I’ve seen wild dolphins in their natural habitat and was amazing, but not the sharks. Sure! Have a wonderful day!
It got the heart pumping for sure. To be honest I’m way more scared of humans than bull sharks. At least you know what the sharks are thinking!! Thank you for the comment.
Greetings from LCA! These are some super unique shots and I can’t wait to see what other amazing content you have planned 💯 Appreciate any support as well
I've seen a lot of sharks and I still freak out! I get a bit scared at first when the adrenaline kicks in and then as time goes on I calm down - it's totally normal! These are apex predators after all. And seeing sharks now is not very common, so don't let that hold you back! 😁
They were very docile. When your not feeding sharks they are usually very calm. I have dove with thousands of sharks on hundreds of dives and only had a problem one time and it was my fault for not following directions and staying with the group. I have done the cage diving thing in South Africa and it was great but diving with these beautiful creatures without a barrier between you is a very special experience. Please feel free to ask any questions, especially when you finally take the plunge! Thank you for your support!
Yes, it is a very cool experience! And yes, I think they are tagged as one of the most aggressive sharks. Like any wild animal, there is always an inherent risk involved when having an encounter - you never know what could happen. I am no expert but in our experience we have come to see that sharks are more afraid of us than we are of them. They tend to get spooked very easily, maybe it’s the bubbles they don’t like! :D Thank you for the comment!
Thank you! It was a very cool experience. We are very fortunate to have been able to do it. And Jackie, don’t you know it’s never polite to ask a lady her age! 😂.
You should! It was in incredible experience. We recommend not, doing the feeding dive as it alters the sharks normal feeding patterns but either way it’s a great way to see the sharks. Let us know how it goes!
😂🤣🥲it was a little scary but also very intimate. We were the only ones there and then the Tiburones Toros showed up! Next time we go you should join! If anything i look 👀 more delicious to a hungry shark 🦈 😉

@glendolynminxalynwhat is sketchy about it? People fish A TON and kill A LOT of sharks in the process

Diving with sharks always seems cool but aren't bull sharks very aggressive and territorial?
