Divs like Greece’s make me actually hate hoi4, whether theyre on my side or not. Meta optimizes the fun out of the game, who’d have guessed?
Especially in an RP game. Its why i just play with mates.
I wanna play RP and have a normal game, lets all do a bit of everything and fight a bit of everything, rather than just go online, google what the most optimal meta build is in some mod, Then practice the hell out of the country (this is genuinely what people do on discardian its so annoying) then play.

These guys are people who’ve sunk hundreds or thousands of hours in hoi4 and know exactly how the game mechanics work to be exploited. Just stick to causal mp games and you’ll be fine lol
Actual normal single player hoi seems like a lot at first but it’s pretty easy to get ahold of. If you watch a lot of Hoi videos you will learn very quickly, that’s how I did. There are many tutorial videos to help. Bitter steel is a great channel because he is entertaining and talks through a lot of his actions. Feedbackgaming also has many long videos to teach you how to play
its the most dumbed down Hearts of Iron, if you cant work this game out then grand strategy games are not for you. They are great games, but dont watch MP for inspiration, they use rulesets, overhaul mods, admin tools etc etc.

Why does Tommy throw his hours of gameplay away what simply could've been fixed by building ports? Or sending port garrisons to Europe? He only sends aid when he feels like it for some reason.
What do you mean. I’m too much of a noob to understand
@@jakestakes9075 Ports are the easiest and cheapest way of getting supplies via sea route, while building a supply hub takes ages compared to that. Port garrisons (basically trash troops) are there to numerically overwhelm the enemy when he lands and hasn't expanded his bridgehead yet.
